Much time had passed since Amarith and Chamber had entered the Bishen Realm. The shantel was about to take place and everything was bustling with activity. Amarith was excited to see so many of his kind but remained by Chamber's side, silently watching the others in his calm observant way. Other shrapes fluttered around cheerfully chatting with the others. Soon, however, the shrapes were all called to line and Amarith and Chamber parted for the first time since his hatching.

First up was Solar, a sunshine aboreal, followed by Sharma, also a sunshine aboreal. Next came Jasmine, a green terran, and Seryn, a blue terran. Before he knew it Amarith was standing before the great Kailin.

*You, Amarith, have been your bondmate's closest companion since your hatching. You also have bonded deeply with the ocean, and love it dearly. To you I present this Water Orb. It will allow you control of the currents and also let you produce various types of water attacks. Use it well.*

Amarith was presented the Water Orb and silently he returned to his place in line, staring with pride and wonder at his magical item. Following him was Perspicace, a green marine, Raina Lynn, a red terran, Serenerissa, a moonstone marine, Faiamitsukai, a red aboreal with clawed wings, finally Sofi, the white terran, and lastly Kipfel the black terran.

When the shantel was atlast over Amarith rushed back to Chamber, beaming with pride with his new item.
