Later that night, Chamber lay in bed holding her egg in her hands... She was happy again, she couldn't figure out why but something about having that little egg made her happy. Many people said she couldn't have pets because she has autism. They said she'd forget about it, but the sea slither believed in her and that made her happy.

She stroked her fingers over the smooth surface again and then stood up and walked across the room. She opened her top drawer on her dresser and set the eggs in side-by-side nestled in a nest of clothes. She then returned to her bed. She stared up at the sky and thought softly to herself, her mind clear for the first time in a very long time.

"An egg..." She thought softly to herself. "Just for me." Her eyes drifted around the room at the calm reflection of the waters outside against the wall inside. She paused. "But... what is it?" She thought slowly with deep confusion before falling into sleep.

When she awoke she saw Scallen standing before her.

"Chamber? Are you still with me?" She nodded slowly still dizzy with sleep.

"Mmhm. I'm awake." He took her hand and gave her a puzzled look at why she still wore the days clothes instead of her usual nightgown. He shrugged.

"I saw your egg an----" He was cut off.

"Oh please, Scallen! Let me keep it! I promised it I'd take care of it!" He smiled at her protectiveness over the egg.

"I was going to tell you that I might know what kind of egg it is." She paused.

"You do? What is it?" Her voice was happy and awed.

"A bishen dragon. And luckily we can keep it...I don't believe they get much larger than a dog." Chamber cheered with pleasant delight.

"Yay!" She wrapped her arms around him. "That's so great!" He nodded.

"Yes I know. When it hatches, I'll take you to the Bishen Realm and learn more about them." He smiled. "Now change your clothes and meet me upstairs." He got up and walked upstairs to make breakfast.

Alone in her room she smiled and looked at the egg in her dresser. "How wonderful." She spoke to the egg, stroking the soft glossy surfaces. "I can't wait to see you hatch. A bishen dragon." She dressed in clean clothes leaving the drawer open then got up and ran upstairs for breakfast.
