A Tribute to my friend Naveed, who is no more with me... He left all of his friends and family on January 18, 1998 in the holy Islamic month of Ramadhan when he was only about 23. He had Lukemia!
May Allah forgive all of his sins and give him peace & place in "AALLA ILLIYEEN" and give patience to all of his friends and family, especially to his Mother. (AMEEN)
He was my friend from high school. It was the begining of 1988, also the begining of new academic year and we were enjoying the new environment of class 7th, when he got admitted as a new comer. We bacame friends on the very first day. He was a genious.
Time passed by, and we did our matriculation in 1992. Naveed got 85% and proved himself a genious again. Sure, he was truly an intelligent student.
He then finished his high school from AdamJee Govt. Science College, Karachi, ofcourse with flying colors. That was the time when I came to America and continued my studies here while he got admission in Dawood Engineering College, Karachi. He, afterwards, got transfered to N.E.D. Engineering University, Karachi the same year he died!
I had a chance to see him in the summer of 1997 when I visited Karachi. But, who knew that it was the last time I was seeing Naveed... my friend, my brother.
I got email message about his sudden death from a friend on "Chaand Raat" when I was getting prepared for the Eid. It was a sudden Shock!
I can never forget my loving friend, who infact always helped me in my studies.
I really miss you Naveed!!! I miss YOU!
