Y más modificaciones...
Por causas ajenas a ANVIL OF DOOM, es ahora la fecha la que cambia. El festival de Palomares del Río cambia de fecha debido a que coincide con una final de fútbol... Son cosas que no tienen nada que ver con nosotros, pero por lo visto afectan al mundo de la música. Nunca creímos que ocurrieran cosas así, en fin. Cuando nos confirmen una fecha definitiva lo haremos saber. Lo sentimos mucho, si de nosotros dependiera, tocábamos.

Se traslada la ubicación del concierto de la Sala Salvation (Sevilla). Los tres grupos tocarán ese mismo día en un festival en Palomares del Río, provincia de Sevilla, junto a otros dos grupos nacionales. El cartel es el que sigue:

En otro orden de cosas, daros las gracias a todos los que estuvisteis en el concierto en la Feria el otro día. Para nosotros fue una pasada volver a tocar por fin ante todos nuestros colegas de Jerez, y respondisteis de manera espectacular a pesar del día y la hora. Gracias también a Manolo y a toda la peña que trabajó en la caseta a pesar de haber terminado ya su horario. Muchas gracias a todos. Esperamos que este concierto haya sido una lección para todos aquellos que impiden que algunos grupos locales puedan hacer algo más que tocar en 6 grupos 6...

This concert has been a lesson for all those who try to fuck up some rock bands from Jerez, you know who we mean...

Concierto
suspendido!!!
Por el momento, se suspende el concierto en Jerez. El problema es que, una vez más, el ayuntamiento se ha echado atrás y ha cancelado nuestra reserva de la sala Paul por toda la cara, aduciendo excusas poco razonables. En fin, la misma historia de siempre... Seguiremos peleando para tocar en Jerez, no os preocupéis!!

For the moment, the gig in Jerez is cancelled. The problem is, once again, the refusal of the local authorities to support the rising rock bands from the town. This time, they have cancelled our booking to play at Sala Paul for own sake, giving non-reasonable excuses. The same old story... We'll keep on fighting to play in Jerez, don't worry!!

de DEATHILLUSION en Jerez.
Al fin ANVIL OF DOOM presentará su primer trabajo en su ciudad, tras largos retrasos propiciados por el escaso apoyo del ayuntamiento. En fin, la cosa es que al fin hemos conseguido una fecha para tocar ante todos nuestros seguidores de Jerez. Eso es lo importante.

CONCIERTO EN CÓRDOBA
Tras haber tenido que cancelar nuestra anterior cita en Córdoba, ANVIL OF DOOM estará allí el próximo viernes 8 de abril, en la Sala Áfrika. Las bandas que tocarán junto a AOD están aún por confirmar, aunque probablemente serán KEVLAR SKIN e INMEMORIAN. Apertura de puertas a las 22:30. La entrada, a la venta en la misma puerta, será de sólo 5€.

After cancelling our last gig in Córdoba, ANVIL OF DOOM will be there next Friday 8th of April, at Sala Áfrika. We are still waiting for two bands to confirm their presence, our pals from KEVLAR SKIN and INMEMORIAN, two bands from the very Córdoba, with whom we have formerly played. FIRST ANVIL OF DOOM ALBUM RECORDING/ GRABACI� DEL PRIMER ALBUM DE ANVIL OF DOOM
The Studio sessions for the first Anvil Of Doom album began in February. This album is going to
be released under Xtreem Music label. The final name is not already decided but the album will
contain nine tracks, plus some instrumental stuff. Here you have some of the track names: Forgotten
Embryons, Dream's Voyager, Let the Earth Breathe, Everlasting pain, .... The recording is taking
place in the Wykyn 'n Morkyn Studios (Jerez de la Frontera). Keep waiting for more info ....

EGAROCK 2003 FESTIVAL CANCELLED BY AN UNLUCKY STORM IN CABRA / SUSPENDIDO EL FESTIVAL EGAROCK 2003 POR UNA DESGRACIADA TORMENTA EN CABRA
This stuff may seem like a bad joke, but unfortunately it’s true.
A few hours before the concert and when every thing set on the scenery of the Municipal Auditory of Cabra, a strong summer storm broke so much water over the place that the Sound Technicians couldn’t avoid the equipment went totally unusable. Then the Organization was forced to cancel the festival.
Despite everyone involved tried to look for another place, it was impossible to manage a quite right Sound Equipment.
Anyway, the Organization ensured us that they’ll work in order to make the festival possible in another date, Hamlet included.
Anvil Of Doom wishes for this to happen.
Esto podría parecer una broma pesada, pero desgraciadamente es verdad.
Horas antes del concierto y cuando todo estaba dispuesto en el escenario del Auditorio Municipal de Cabra, una fuerte tormenta de verano descargó tal cantidad de agua que los técnicos del concierto no pudieron evitar que el equipo, que ya estaba preparado para el show, quedara totalmente inutilizable. Por este motivo, la organización se vio obligada a cancelar el festival.
A pesar de que se intentó buscar otra localización, no se consiguió disponer del equipo de sonido adecuado.
De todos modos, la organización nos aseguró de que se pondrían a trabajar para llevar a cabo el festival en otras fechas, con Hamlet incluido
Anvil Of Doom espera que esto se cumpla.

ANVIL OF DOOM SIGNS WITH XTREEM MUSIC!!! / ANVIL OF DOOM FIRMA CON XTREEM MUSIC!!!
Despite troubles and uncertainty around if Warcry would play or not in “La Comedia”(the 26th of April), DAVE ROTTEN, director of the record company XTREEMMUSIC, wanted to come from Madrid to our city just to see the band on stage and to meet us in person, in order to finish the negotiation of a Record Contract with his company XTREEM MUSIC.
All happened satisfactory and the day after the concert, between “tea flavours” and a more relaxed atmosphere, the band finally signed a deal with the company, which is for the recording of 2 albums.
The first Anvil of Doom album is planed to be released in the beginning of 2004, under Xtreem Music Label .( For more info visit Xtreem Music)
A pesar de los problemas y de la incertidumbre sobre si Warcry tocaría o no en la comedia (26 de Abril), Dave Rotten, director de la compañía discográfica Xtreem Music, quiso venir desde Madrid hasta nuestra ciudad para ver a la banda sobre los escenarios y conocernos personalmente, para finalizar la negociación de un contrato discográfico con su compañía Xtreem Music.
Todo ocurrió satifactoriamente y el día después del concierto, entre “aromas de té” y una atmófera más relajada, la banda finalmente firmó un contrato con la compañía para la grabación de dos discos.
El primer álbum de Anvil Of Doom está planeado que salga a principios del 2004, bajo el sello Xtreem Music (para más información visitar Xtreem Music)

ANVIL OF DOOM + SPHINX LIVE IN “LA COMEDIA”(26TH OF APRIL) / ANVIL OF DOOM + SPHINX EN LA COMEDIA (26 DE ABRIL)
AOD played a concert with the band Sphinx in the club “LaComedia”, the last 26th of April. Sphinx played in the place of Warcry that was the intended band but fell down from the show in the last moments.
During the previous week to this concert, A.O.D. appeared on a Radio Interview for “Cadena Ser”, in order to promote the show. A.O.D. also appeared on an interview for the Local TV, “Onda Jerez “, with the same promotional intention.
AOD tocó un concierto con la banda Sphinx en la Comedia, el último 26 de Abril. Sphinx tocó en lugar de Warcry que era la banda prevista inicialmente pero se cayeron del cartel en los últimos momentos. (Agradecer a Sphinx su rápida respuesta y disponibilidad).
Durante la semana previa a este concierto AOD apareció en una entrevista de radio (“Cadena Ser”), para promocionar el concierto.
AOD también apareció en una entrevista para la televisión local (“Onda Jerez”), con la misma intención promocional.

NEW MEMBERS JOIN ANVIL OF DOOM / NUEVOS COMPONENTES EN ANVIL OF DOOM
Since a couple of months A.O.D. has got new components.
Pinto has been definitively substituted by ALOIS on guitars and temporally the place of bassist has been taken by SALVI until Ale’s coming back from Ireland in June, 2003.
ALOIS formerly was in several Heavy-oriented local bands like: “Alcazaba”, “Tributo”,....
SALVI, in fact is guitarist, but his high musical qualities have allowed him to accommodate perfectly to play bass in A.O.D. ( Eternal thanks go to you for your help and thegood feeling you brought to the band !!!....”Salvi Disneider”)
Desde hace un par de meses AOD tiene nuevos miembros.
Pinto ha sido definitivamente sustituido por Alois a la guitarra y temporalmente en lugar del bajista a sido tomado por Salvi hasta la vuelta de Ale desde Irlanda en Junio de 2003.
ALOIS anteriormente estaba en varios grupos heavies locales como: “Alcazaba”, “Tributo”, ...
SALVI, en realidad es guitarrista, pero dada sus altas cualidades musicales se ha acomodado perfectamente a tocar el bajo con AOD (te estamos agradecidos eternamente por tu ayuda y el buen feeling que tragiste a la banda!! ... “Salvi Disneider”)
