KaZaa Lite is one of the most popular P2P programs available. However, it is no longer in production, so no updated versions of the program are available. KaZaa has the most users, so therefore has the most results available. However, KaZaa can slow already slow computers down, and has a slow startup. Also, many viruses are targeted at the Kazaa Lite Network, with some downloads containing built in viruses. However, it is a useful program for downloading rare files, which cannot be found anywhere else.

Ants programs STRONGLY reccomends that a virus checker be installed prior to using Kazaa Lite, and that all downloaded files be scanned before being opened.

Warez is growing in popularity, due to its regular updates, and increasing amount of users. All file formats are available to seacrh, and many results are usually returned. It has a built in media player to preview/play downloading/downloaded audio or video. Also, where in Kazaa, users may have to wait to preview the file, Warez plays you the preview as soon as enough data has being downloaded to show you even 1 second. Warez is not a main target for viruses, so it is rare to find a virus contained within a file, but virus checks should still be carried out just to be safe.

Morpheus is just as popular as KaZaa Lite, with just as many users, if not more, and with regular updates. It allows you to search for all file formats, and has a built in media pleayer to preview/play downloaded/downloading files. It also has a very good Graphical User Interface. However, it does come bundled with a lot of malware.

Please note that this download is a pre installer, the full download (apprx 4Mb) will begin once downloaded. Ants Programs STRONGLY reccommends a full malware scan is carried out when installation has finished, to remove the large amounts of Malware.
