And with his next album, Golden Age of Grotesque, to be released this fall, more and more people are beginning to like him. This article was put together to give all fans a better understanding of this truly wonderful individual. But, please don't tell Trent Reznor about this. He's still sore that Manson's more well-known than he is. Plus, he'd be more upset if he found out that Marilyn was getting his own article. Marilyn Manson, or Brian Warner, as most close friends know him, was born January 5, 1969. As Manson grew up, he expierienced things that made him stronger. He made many new friends, and even made Trent Reznor care about him. And those who know Trent will tell you that he would never show such emotions. Down the road, Marilyn got more and more controversial, and stronger too. He felt the rage inside of him because he was never able to help hmself or his friends in the various problems that he encountered. This eventually caused him to no longer care about what others perceived of him, simply because he knew he would never be able to change their opinions. |

There are many things unknown, or even speculated about Marilyn. Did you know that his hidden power is connected with the Christians and Trent? This could be considered true. During the early days of the Spooky Kids, (as you might have heard) it was rumored that he was sacrificing animals at his concerts. As expected, this created a huge uproar of controversy around him, making him all the more popular. Later on, Christians dissed on him for bashing on their religion and their God. The various lawsuits presented onto him angered him because he knew he couldn't help it without ruining his career. Trent, if you're wondering, helped Manson by training him. Since Marilyn had been influenced by these people, he ended up developing a power that is similar to true rage. It is not Marilyn's power level that helps him acheive these bursts of anger, but his hidden power. Manson's rage boosts his power because he feels desperation and uses that as his weapon. |

" I'd have to say that my favorite version of Manson is the "Holy Wood era" Manson, not only because he's adorable in women's clothes *wink wink*, but because that's when his hidden power was at its peak. We must overcome our fears and realize the strength within us and how to use them, just like Trent taught Manson. He told Marilyn what it means to believe in the strength in yourself and use it to your advantage. Marilyn has gone from being a scared rock star to the most powerful person in the world, and it's own worst enemy at the same time. What I really mean is, Marilyn Manson is the best thing ever created, he is God and I LOVE HIM!!!!

" I love Marilyn when he either performed at the '97 VMA's and his latest tours. At some concerts he can be annoying and stuff but only because he has a huge ego. I also like him because of his care-free attitude. If Trent is the rock, than Marilyn is the mountain. Strong and unmoveable. Manson may act like a dork, but he's still cool!!

Overall, Marilyn has many, many fans. Some like him in women's clothing, (myself included) and others in his music videos. But no matter what he looks like, his fans are there for him. Now you can let Trent in. And if he wonders what you've been doing, just tell him you were trying to figure out why Manson is more popular than him. Anything else would make him suspicious. In conclusion, Marilyn Manson may be a little controversial, but it's all good, and we'll still love him no matter what!! Marilyn Forever!! |
