A/N: My wonderful 'Dark Omega'......not even one stinkin' review...goddammit...all that wasted time....tough shit for me though..anywho...here's my second masterpiece..'With You'. It's about Marilyn Manson...(you HAD to see it coming) and his feelings for Trent Reznor. That's what I'll be putting up on here 'till I get my new masterpiece typed up. Coming up....'Pushing Me Away' which is Trent's feelings on Manson...and 'Forgotten'. That's where Manson decides to tell Trent how he feels..(hoo hoo hoo!!) I'll make a different version of 'Forgotten' where Trent's reaction is waayyyy different...But for now...here's my prelude to all of that................

                                                                                   'With You'

                                                              By Trent Reznor_X_Marilyn Manson

~ I woke up in a dream today

To the cold of the static

And put my cold feet on the floor

   Forgot all about yesterday

   Remembering

I'm pretending to be where I'm not anymore

Marilyn Manson sat down on a cliff, with Trent Reznor following closely. Manson closed his eyes and meditated. Trent just sat and looked out into the sky. Marilyn thought about what Trent was to him. He seemed to be a friend, but so much more....a god, a teacher, a....lover?! Manson shook the mere thought out of his mind. There was no way that he loved Trent..."that way." He did love Trent, but in the "friend way." Marilyn wasn't 'that way,' as he and Trent used to joke about whenever Twiggy was drunk and make a pass on them.

" No, I'm not that way." Manson would say, usually kidding. The thought of he and Trent being 'more than friends' kept re-surfacing into Marilyn's head. He decided to think about what it would be like, but Trent was so close to him, he thought that Trent could somehow hear what he was thinking.

~ A little taste of hypocrisy

And I'm left in the wake of the mistakes

   Slow to react

And even though you're so close to me

   You're still so distant

And I can't bring you back

Manson tried to keep his queer thoughts out of his mind, but it all seemed so real, as if they were meant to be together. He cringed slightly. They had almost always been friends, so why not? Marilyn took a quick look back at Trent.

" Come on...." A voice urged him in his mind. " He's right there...Make your move.."

~ It's true

   The way I feel

   Was promised by your face

   The sound of your voice

   Painted on my memories

Even if you're not with me

   I'm with you

   You

   Now I see

   Keeping everything inside

   You

   Now I see

Even when I close my eyes

Marilyn looked back at Trent again. It was getting very hard form Manson to resist his urges, but somehow he managed to keep himself under control. He knew Trent's voice and everything about him by heart and it was embedded into his soul.  They had their little disputes and fights, yes. Manson still remembered when Trent got so pissed at him for using the lyrics to 'Closer' as spare computer paper, which he had unfortuately already printed on. Trent had beat the crap out of him for that, and Manson vowed to always leave important things with Trent. Manson had always seemed to like Trent, even though Trent had been the dominant one, and Marilyn always followed, no matter the risk.

~ I hit you and you hit me back

   We fall to the floor

The rest of the day stands still

Fine line between this and that

   When things go wrong

I pretend the past isn't real

Now I'm trapped in this memory

And I'm left in the wake of the mistakes

   Slow to react

Even though you're so close to me

   You're still so distant

And I can't bring you back

Marilyn sighed and thought some more about Trent. Why was he torturing himself? He knew he could never have Trent, but he still tempted himself. Trent was always so far ahead of Manson, one tour or album away, it didn't matter, but Manson always played catch-up with Trent. There was something in their way of being equal, and Marilyn was left as being incomplete. He tried to catch up, but Trent won out in the end, either by releasing an album or going on tour, Manson was second, every time.

~ No

No matter how far we've come

I can't wait to see tomorrow

   No

No matter how far we've come

I can't wait to see tomorrow

Manson looked back at his idol once more. Trent decided to speak.

" You okay? You look like you're not feeling so great." Trent seemed to be concerned, which Manson liked.

" No, I'm fine. Don't worry about me." Marilyn hid his feelings well.
" O..Okay, just checking, 'cuz I'd hate to lose my best pal." Trent stood up and walked off. " You comin'?"

" Oh...uh..yeah, I guess..." Manson followed Trent, where-ever they went, Manson didn't care, because he loved Trent, and what made Trent happy made Marilyn happy. The two hadn't become complete yet, becuae they hadn't confessed each other's feelings. Manson shrugged and walked off.

~ I'm with you

   You

   Now I see

   Keeping everything inside

   You

   Now I see

Even when I close my eyes
