Vintage shoes
A pair of vintage Oxford style formal day shoes by Barratt's of Northampton.  Undated, but they bear the CC41 mark (Civilian Clothes 1941) indicating that they were made to a war economy standard and suggesting a manufacturing date of somewhere between 1941 and the mid-1950s.  Somewhat battered as is unsurprising in a shoe of that vintage but still serviceable.  Leather sole and upper, half-lined in linen with replacement rubber heel top-lift.
