A selection of Durham Hoods
Here are presented a number of images of Durham hoods, showing the characteristic modified Cambridge shape characteristic of the B.C.L. hood and here exhibited on both the B.Sc. and (unusually) the B.A. hood, and also the Durham Doctor's shape of the B.D.

[All images from Haycraft/Scobie Stringer, "Degrees & Hoods of the World's Universities and Colleges" 4th edition, 1948 illus. Col. A.J. Hannah.  NB This source is known for containing some errors and should be treated with caution.]
Note rounded corners of the B.Sc. cape, being the modification of the squared-off Cambridge cape customary at Durham for this degree and that of B.C.L.
The Durham B.A. hood; note especially the shape of the cape.  Normally a "wineglass" shape, here the cape is shown with the rounded corners more typical of the B.C.L. and associated hoods.
The Durham B.D., in the Durham Doctor's shape.
