Combination White Waistcoat and Braces
AS the title suggests...  Conjectured date is 1930s for no better reason than that I believe that backless waistcoats only began to come into common use in the 1920s and presumably it would take some time for variations on a theme to develop. In "as found" condition, I hope to "do them up" into a wearable state at some point, although they will need the addition of a back strap as well as buttons sewn on the rear brace portions to fix them together.
Inside waistcoat front showing button loops (presumably usable with trousers with braces buttons on the inside waistband as well as the oustside)
