Beirut City

Beirut, the charm of the middle east, the gathering of versatile cultures, and the union of devoted people. In this prosperous city, western and eastern societies combine, people of different religions and opinions unite; Christians or Muslims, Communists or Masonic.. all have planted the faith for one ever lasting goal: A better Lebanon.

During the period of the devastating civil war, the Lebanese society went through harmful years of bloody crimes, hatred and discrimination. However, Lebanon now owns a whole new generation of ambitious people willing to get their country back on track, into the new challenging world. With great optimism and determination, eager teens are working hard to present their own bright ideas towards Lebanon. And Beirut city had a great part of this work: it is now represented as channel #Beirut on DALnet, the world's largest Internet Relay Chat global network. In this wide virtual world, #Beirut maintains a solid image of Lebanese daily life, views, developments, and opens a great chance for different kinds of debates. Under the operation of a superb management, #Beirut has worked for years to represent the best of Lebanon, and form an honest view of the Lebanese actual society. In this website, which happens to be one of #Beirut's main achievements, you will be provided with details and facts of how our youth is maintaining a daily operation of this channel.

On behalf of #Beirut's management, I welcome you to this website which is only a part of many projects to come. I ask you to feel free to submit your opinions and views of our work. Any comments of any kind will always be welcomed, and we highly appreciate your support, since we Lebanese aim for endless prosperity and continuous success, as long as we live. Welcome home.
