I cherish that I am able to view music in a very different perspective, rather than just a common person. I listen to voices, beats, sounds, backgrounds etc. I love anything that is new and captivating. I appreciate music from ghazals to heavy metal to soft rock to cartoon theme songs.
I tried learning the guitar and the piano when I was small. Its a sad thing that I didnt have the ways and means and patience to continue. The only thing I accomplished in music is to learn South Indian Classical Music, at an age when all I wanted was those four years(!) to complete soon. If you ask me now, whatever I learnt that time didnt leave a trace in my memory. My learning classical music gave me a very good foundation to singing. I could sing one song in a high picth or a low one - a problem coz I sometimes forget the original pitch of the song. I didnt put my singing talent to the market. The most I made of it was to sing in my school choir and participate in singing competitions (as part of a group - i didnt think about going solo).
Me and my sister have a good voice together. Rose singing alone is terrible to hear. But I love it when we both sing together. Our voices fuse as one and we are good in singing in parts. My favourite song that we do together is "I just keep trusting my Lord".
I love to sing on my own. No performances please. I sing when I feel like it. I love to sing when I am going on my scooty. I could sing out so loud and dont give a damn about what is going around me. My friends love to do the same too. There are a few friends of mine who love to join me in singing when we are on the road on my scooty bike. I feel free and that feeling is really wonderful.
My friends love to hear me sing "Barbie Girl" by Aqua and "My heart will go on" by Celine Dion. At one point, I got so bugged of singing the same songs again and again. I love to sing for people who enjoy it. I dont need appreciation or anything, as long as my voice can make someone cheerful.

Nobody can get bored listening to music. There is music for every soul in this world. Everybody has some sort of music according to one's liking. I cant think of someone saying that they hate music. Nobody can. So enjoy quality music while you live. Spread the joy of music to everyone around you.
