ON THEIR 24TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
If I could forge a medal of platinum silver and gold,
Then stud it with rubies and emeralds, lovely to behold,
It would not be great enough for your loving ways,
But maybe this poem may be able to sing your praise.
Always so hardworking and willing to give your all,
The kind of people who open the door to all who call,
Sacrifice and service are the things you always do,
True, honest Christians your whole life through.
Happy anniversary, may rich blessing come your way,
May the love of heaven in your home always stay,
May the sealing powers bind you forever as one
Big happy family and celestial glory be won.
There are no words powerful for me to explain
All the love that will come as all together you aim.
May God’s grace bless you with sweet joy in your heart,
Knowing that in His kingdom you can never part.
As you worship in His temple and you choose aright,
And you continue to serve Him with all your might.
May the light of the gospel never in you grow dim,
For, Teresa and Wayne, your exaltation you should surely win.
God bless you as you strive to always do what is right,
And the Lord will give you all His power strength and might.
