FOR LOREN FLEMMING
Farewell Loren, my big friend with an even bigger heart,
You were always so willing to do more than your part,
Helped so many people with kindness along lifes way,
Always a ray of warm sunshine on a sad or dull day.
My honest friend, my valiant friend forever true,
A treasured friend who well miss this life through.
Those left behind will feel heartache, hurt and pain,
But there is great comfort knowing well see each other again,
Patrice, your sons and daughter and many others too
Like me, will long one day to be forever with you.
We will all remember the spiritual feasts we have shared,
As for a heavenly home we all constantly prepared.
We remember the fun times with laughter ever sharing,
Showing you as a dear friend ever caring.
You playing bad golf, eating up divots of green grass,
Yet as you kept score no one did ever you pass,
Always the winner however poor your game would be
And wed go home happy with only smiles to see.
Through laughter and sorrow you were always there,
A precious son of God with love beyond compare,
Farewell dear friend until we can all meet again,
As we will keep on striving Gods sweet glory to gain.
