ON THIS THEIR SPECIAL DAY
May the Lord bless you and keep you in love
ever on from this day,
As you start along the path to heaven together and
worthy always stay,
Remember this day when you were married for
now and all eternity,
The trials you overcame, each battle won that
helped you be
Worthy for this blessing given to us His Saints
of these latter days,
Find the strength to press forward in truth
following His ways.
The path you tread together may not always
be paved with gold,
But through all life’s trials you will grow more
in love as you grow old,
See that love-light burning in your eyes on
this your special day,
May it be brighter every moment as you listen
to His will and obey.
God bless you as you start the right way
through your life,
Keep that great love as you learn together to be
husband and wife.
