and indirect relatives are black.

Malcolm Tartan     This is the McConnell tartan of County Antrim, Ireland.  Mary Ann McConnell, my great-great-grandmother, was born in Canada, but her father, Samuel McConnell, was born in County Antrim.

This is the Melville tartan.  Eliza Melville was my great-grandmother.  Her grandfather, Adam Melville, was born in Scotland.                      This is the County Tyrone tartan.  Thomas Moore and Abigail Ford were married in County Tyrone, Ireland.
