On the other end of Mother's-in-Law bridge there is a little place called Old Odessa. It is also a very popular place to take pictures, no wedding comes past this place. On a very little paved space there are: a little cute arch of bridge, a little cute arbor, a couple of griffin statues, a well (also not functioning) and a Christian woman sculpture in the middle of the flowerbed. This place also borders a courtyard that you may see from above because the building forming it stand on that down street. And it is an amazing example of what is called true Odessa courtyard, which is understood like the courtyard of a building with apartments for rather poor people like it was in the beginning of 20th century. It is not big, but the particularity consists in the fact that the building has outside stairs and they give onto the outside passages of course, where people dry their laundry, women do their kitchen preparatory or drink coffee sitting on stools take from the apartment. They can see their children down in the courtyard and they can talk to each other sitting right where they are. The nostalgia of it may be not understood by non-Odessits, but such a picture is a part of everyday life color, even if not of today's Odessa life.
