Author's note: In the chapter, Mirai 17 and 18, along with Mirai Gohan and Bardock are brought back to life. Once again, I'm trying to bring the true spirit of the Dragonball Z Anime and manga into my fanfic, by using a minimum of cusswords, and maybe some minor graphic violence. Here's Chapter 2

In almost no time at all, Goku had gathered all seven Dragonballs. This impressed the three androids, and Krillin.
Krillin: WOW! You did it, Goku! You gathered ALL SEVEN DRAGONBALLS in JUST ONE DAY!
Goku: Thanks, Krillin.
18: AMAZING! I'm finally going to see Shenron in action once again!
17: Sis...I'm impressed, too. But I'm kinda nervous. I mean...I never encountered Shenron, the Eternal Dragon of Earth before. And from what you told me...he's intimidating.
18: Oh, stop it, 17. Remember, I'm the elder twin. I was born half a minute before you. Mom even said so.
17: Oohh....you don't have to remind me of that.
16: I have never encountered Shenron before, either. Since this will be my first time meeting him, I must analyze it carefully.
Goku: Whatever you say, 16.
A minute later, everyone was gathered to watch Shenron do his work. Almost everyone was silent, except Mirai Trunks, who asked 18 if she could slightly modify her wish.
Mirai Trunks: 18?
18: Yes, Mirai Trunks?
Mirai Trunks: Could you add a person to the list of those you're going to bring back for a week?
18: Sure. Who is it?
Mirai Trunks: The Gohan of my timeline. I want him to know about all the different things that are happening. I want him to see a world at peace. (whispers) Most importantly, I want to see his reaction to you and Krillin being parents of that cute girl. (points to Marron)
18: Ha ha ha ha ha. Well, of course, Mirai Trunks. Consider it done.
Mirai Trunks: Thanks. Call the dragon, OK?
18: Okay.
And so, without hesitation, 18 called upon the dragon. In order to embarrass her husband a bit, she did it like Krillin tried to do on Namek.
18: I call upon the mighty Shenron. I command you now, to hear my howl, and MAKE MY WISH COME TRUE!!!
Krillin: WHA? (blushes) Why did you say that for, honey?
18: Because...it was the way you tried to call upon Porunga on Namek. I just wanted to see your reaction. (kisses his cheek, and his face gets even redder) You told me all about it. (smirks)
Krillin: Whoa boy. You are a very clever woman, 18.
18: Thank you, Krillin.
After 18 made her husband blush, the seven Dragonballs glowed more intensely, until finally, a burst of light appeared. It darted upwards in the sky, going higher and higher, and begun to spiral. the shape of a Dragon's head appeared in the light, as it growled. Finally, when it reached the zenith of its height, the light took on a solid form. Shenron had returned.
Shenron: (growls) GGGGGRRRRRRRR!
Goku: Oh boy...here we go. Do your thing, 18.
18: Thanks, Goku.
Shenron: You who have summoned me, speak now. I shall make two of your wishes come true!
18: Dragon...for my first wish, I wish that Mirai 17, Mirai 18, Mirai Gohan and Goku's father were brought back to life in this timeline, so they could spend a week with us.
Shenron concentrated with all of his might.
Shenron: I...WILL...TRY!! (eyes glow red)
Meanwhile, in the Hell of Mirai Trunks' timeline, Mirai 17 and 18 were contemplating why they were killed and sent there.
Mirai 17: Blast it! Why were we sent here?! There's nothing to do! Darn that Trunks!!
Mirai 18: You know, 17...Trunks isn't to blame for this....we are.
Mirai 17: What do you mean?! Do you know what you're implying??
Mirai 18: I'm afraid so. If we didn't kill all of the Z Fighters, including Gohan, along with all of those civilians, none of this would've happened. I hate it! I HATE THIS PLACE!! I hate what we are! Damn that that Dr. Gero! If it wasn't for him...I would've found love...a true reason for my existence! And now...(smashes a stone brick of the Fountain of Blood into a million pieces) And now...we have NOTHING!
Mirai 17: Chill out, 18! You have to admit, we had some fun.
Mirai 18: It might've been fun to you...but the fun left what we did a long time ago. Man, you just HAD to be the younger twin, didn't you? Born at least 30 seconds after me.
Mirai 17: DON'T REMIND ME OF THAT, SISSY!!
Mirai 18: (punches Mirai 17 into the pool of blood) Don't you EVER call me by that dumb NICKNAME!! I hate my real name! Why'd I have to be named Cecelia, anyway?
Mirai 17: (gets out of the pool) Sorry, sis.
Just then, a reptilian voice spoke to the twins. They turned around, and saw a green monster with orange spots on his muzzle, the back of his head and his abdomen. He had wings like a roach, and had a tail with a stinger. This was Imperfect Cell...Dr Gero's greatest creation.
Imperfect Cell: Hello there, Androids 17 and 18. I've waited a long time to finally meet you. (snickers) Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh.
Mirai 18: Who...or what are you?
Imperfect Cell: I'm glad you asked. My name is Cell. I am Dr. Gero's greatest work. After all this time, I shall absorb you both into my being! THEN...I WILL...become...COMPLETE!!
Mirai 17: You monster! We can't be a part of you!!
Imperfect Cell: We'll see about that! (lashes out with his tail, and the stinger expands into a funnel)
But then, just as Cell was about to absorb Mirai 17, the voice of present day 18 echoed throughout time and space, followed by the voice of Shenron Immediately after that, the haloes disappeared from the androids' heads, and then they disappeared.
Voice of 18: (echoing) I wish that Mirai 17, Mirai 18, Mirai Gohan and Goku's father were brought back to life in this timeline, so they could spend a week with us.
Imperfect Cell: What the heck?!
Voice of Shenron: (echoing) I...WILL...TRY!!
Mirai 18: (sees her brother's halo disappearing) 17...your halo...it's GONE!
Mirai 17: Yours too, 18...what could this mean?
Imperfect Cell: That voice...it's the ETERNAL DRAGON! It's impossible! Unless...ah yes. Someone made a new timeline. Probably that foolish upstart, Trunks. But that won't stop me! (lunges at Mirai 17 and 18, but they vanish) NUTS! I was so close!
Back in the present timeline, Mirai 17 and 18 appeared. Soon after that, they were accompanied by Mirai Gohan and Bardock. Vegeta gave Mirai 17 and 18 a "warm welcome."
Mirai 17: Where are we?
Mirai 18: I don't know.
Vegeta: Welcome to our timeline, tin cans.
Mirai Gohan: (appears) Huh? What's going on?
Bardock: (appears) Where am I? What is this place?
Immediately, the Eternal Dragon of Earth answered their questions by speaking of his achievement. He was partially strained by the effort.
Shenron: YOUR WISH...HAS BEEN GRANTED! The ones...known as Mirai 17, Mirai 18, Mirai Gohan and Bardock have been brought back to life, and are now here...in this...timeline.
Mirai 18: What is that thing?
Mirai 18 was shocked to see the Eternal Dragon for the first time in her life, as was Mirai 17, and his alternate counterpart of the present. Mirai Gohan, however, realized what was happening.
Mirai 17: That thing...it's...frightening!
17: (is hiding in a corner) I know...(looks at 18) You were right, sis. Shenron IS INTIMIDATING!
18 & Mirai 18: 17, quit being such a baby! (both look at each other, and are extremely shocked) WHAT THE?!?!
Mirai Gohan: Oh my goodness...(looks up) WHOA! It's SHENRON! That means...
Mirai Trunks: You got that right, Gohan.
Mirai Gohan: TRUNKS! (hugs him) You did it! You saved the future by giving Goku the medicine he needed to survive, didn't you?
Mirai Trunks: Sure did. Man, you aren't going to believe what's different around here.
Goku then yelled at Bardock, who immediately recognized his son. Unbeknownst to Goku, Bardock was watching from the bleachers during the Other World Martial Arts Tournament.
Goku: Hey...over here, father.
Bardock: That voice...could it be? (looks around, and notices Goku) KAKAROT!! (runs and hugs him) My son!
Goku: DAD! I finally get to meet you face to face. I barely remember sending you a message of hope to you over 20 years ago.
Bardock: I know. You saved me, son. Because of you, I was able to make amends for my past sins, and was allowed into the Other World as the reward for my valiant effort to stop Frieza. You might not have noticed, but I was in the bleachers, cheering you on in the Other World Martial Arts Tournament.
Goku: WHA? You were?
Bardock: That's right. Man, you were so close to winning, son. It's too bad your feet touched the ceiling. I've dreamed of seeing you for a long, long time.
Goku: Thanks.
Just as the father-son reunion was taking place, Shenron regained his composure, and proclaimed he wanted to know the 2nd wish.
Shenron: I AM GROWING IMPATIENT! Make your SECOND WISH...NOW!! IT IS TIME!!!
18, getting over the shock of seeing Mirai 18 yell at Mirai 17 the same time and way as she did, was ready to make her second wish. Mirai 17 and 18 were shocked to see that this "lookalike" of 18 knew about the self-destruct mechanisms.
Krillin: You've got the floor, dearest.
18: Thanks, Krillin. (what would Goku do? Oh yeah!) I wish for you to remove the self-destruct mechanisms inside Mirai 17 and 18!
Mirai 17: WHA? How did that girl know about the self-destruct mechanisms Dr. Gero put into us?
Mirai 18: I don't know...but she looks just like me.
Shenron at first confused one pair of androids for the other, but that was quickly rectified by 18's explanation.
Shenron: That wish...CANNOT...BE GRANTED...NOW! The bombs inside Androids 17 and 18 were removed before, and it is impossible to do so again!
18: (Ay yi yi! I was afraid of this. The dumb dragon can't tell us apart without further scrutiny. Looks like Shenron needs to know who's who.) Listen, you dolt! Mirai 17 and 18 are from a different timeline! My brother and I might've had our self-destruct mechanisms removed, but theirs haven't been messed with. So you'd better be able to distinguish the differences between me, 17 and our alternate selves and grant the stinking wish! (whips out her hand, with the wedding ring on it) See this? I'm married, she isn't. Krillin's my husband and Marron's my daughter...but Mirai 18 doesn't have either. Get the picture?
Shenron: (grumbles) I understand, now. It SHALL BE DONE! (eyes glow red)
And so, the Eternal Dragon was able to grant the second wish, and remove the self-destruct mechanisms from Mirai 17 and 18.
Mirai 17: Wha? The bomb...it's gone.
Mirai 18: I know. This is weird.
After he had completed his tasks, Shenron disappeared in a burst of light, and the seven Dragonballs dispersed in several flashes of light, making space-like whistling sounds, as they went into new destinations.
Shenron: The second wish has been granted. NOW I MUST GO!!! (roars, and disappears)
Just then, in the Other World of the present timeline, Perfect Cell had just escaped from Hell, using the knowledge of the secret escape route which led to King Yemma's desk drawer. By then, he was at the check-in station, concocting a sinister plan.
Perfect Cell: So...the Mirai counterparts of 17 and 18 were wished back with the Dragonballs, along with the Gohan of their timeline, and Bardock, the father of Goku. (snickers) No matter. All I have to do, is use the Instant Transmission to go back to the realm of the living, "borrow" Trunks' ship for a little while to go to Mirai Hell, and use the Namekian fusion technique with my counterpart, who obviously died at the hands of that upstart. Then...we shall have our revenge! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! (uses the Instant Transmission)
And so, Perfect Cell, the one of most dangerous foes the Z-Fighters ever faced, returns to Earth with a new sinister plan. Will he succeed in doing what he sets out to do? Or, will the Z-Fighters destroy him again? And, how will the week with Mirai 17, Mirai 18, Mirai Gohan and Bardock be spent? Find out in the third chapter of...DRAGONBALL Z!!
