Chapter 17- The Disappearance 
“Owww” Verah sat up on the bed she was in a pair of baggy purple pants and a big blue t-shirt she had two bandages across her face and one right above her elbow 
“Oh, I thought I heard something” Trunks walked in with some gauze and medicine in his hand 
“What happened?” Verah moaned while rubbing the side of her face 
“Well Goten called you a boy, you went after him he powered up to SSL 2 and beat the crap out of you then I powered up and punched him in the face and stomach” 
“Ouch, is he alright?” 
“I don’t know, I left him where we where fighting” Trunks walked over to her and started to put some gauze over a cut on Verah’s shoulder 
“WHAT?!? You left him there?” 
“Relax he wasn't hurt at all he probably just has a red mark on his cheek” Trunks finished bandaging up Verah’s shoulder and then gave her a pill 
“Here, this will stop the pain” Trunks said 
Verah swallowed the pill and got out if the bed 
“Well I’m going to go find him,” Verah stated as she left the room 
“Wait I’m coming too” Trunks shouted as he ran after her 
They both ran outside and flew off towards Goten’s house 

**Somewhere in space** 
“The time draws nearer, soon that foolish girl will find out why I always hurt her” the figure laughed a evil wicked laugh, “now all I need is some one who is friends with her” 

**At Goten’s house** 

“No, he hasn't come home yet, I thought he was training with you” Goku stood at the door with Trunks and Verah 
“Weird” Verah said as she wondered where Goten could be 
“Maybe I hit him to hard” Trunks said thinking of all the places Goten hides when he is mad 

“Maybe he fell asleep where we where fighting” Trunks said remembering that Goten always takes a nap after a battle 
“Its worth a try” Verah said 

Trunks and Verah flew off while Goku went inside to eat for the fifth time this hour 
I wonder why Verah was all beat up Goku thought to himself as he popped 10 cream puffs into his mouth at once 
** near the battle ground** 
“GOTEN!” 
Verah called out for Goten while circling the area where thy where fighting 

“YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!” 
Verah continued to shout hoping Goten would show himself 

“I’M SORRY I CALLED YOU AN ASS!” Trunks shouted as he flew up higher to get a better look of the area 

Verah spotted something on the ground, when she picked it up she found there was a picture of a person on the front and numbers on the back 

“Trunks what is this?” Verah showed him the card 
“Holy Crap! This is Goten’s “lucky” baseball he never goes any where with out it” Trunks shouted 

“I have a bad feeling about this” Verah said to Trunks
