Chapter 14- The Flashback 
“Daddy come and play with me!” a small girl with brown hair and deep brown eyes shouted as she ran up and pulled on her father’s sleeve 
“You want to play?” her father replied, he turned around, his eyes where cold as ice, he looked at the girl and raised his hand, he smacked her across the face 
“Get lost you little twit I don’t want to be involved with you” he shouted, 
The little girl looked up at him, her eyes where soft but confused, he raised his hand to hit her once more 
He stared coldly into her eyes, 
He hit her again 
“Don’t look at me like that!” he shouted, he punched her in the stomach and she fell to the floor 
“Daddy please stop” she muffled still trying to catch he breath, she lied on the floor holding her stomach 
Her father looked at his daughter on the floor in pain 
“Your so weak I cant believe you will be the one to stop me” the father snickered 
He pulled his foot back and kicked the girl in the stomach, she screamed in pain 
“Now get lost before I do that again,” he said as he turned away from his daughter 
The girl pulled her self up and scrambled out of the room 
“Wait” her father said 
She poked her head back into the room 
“Yes daddy?” 
“Come here I have a present for you” 
“Yea!” the little girl ran to her father 
He grabbed her arm and flipped it up 
“Maybe this will weaken you” he smirked 
He grabbed a needle with blue stuff in it and jabbed it into her arm and gave her the injection 
The girl shrieked in pain 
When he let go of her arm she grabbed the spot where he put in the needle and ran out of the room 
She got into the hall but she cried out in pain and fell to the floor shaking 
Her father came out and picked her up and brought her back into the office 
He placed her down on a table and picked up a ink needle, he pulled back her hair and started to draw a bar code 
She screamed in pain and tried to get-up put her entire body was num, all she could do was scream 
When he finished he picked up a needle with some silver metal in it, then on each bar he put some of the metal in it 
“There now I will always know where you are” he smirked 
He picked up another needle then an other one he injected the first one 
The little girl screamed and started to cry… 

“Let me go… no… leave me alone…get… get away from me…” Verah tossed and turned in her bed, she started screaming and yelling, her power level rose 
Trunks ran into her room 
“Verah what’s wrong?” he said 
He looked at Verah on the bed and then it hit him 
“Verah wake up!” he shouted as he ran over to her 
She woke up with a start, she opened her eyes and sat up breathing very hard 
“Where is he?” Verah cried 
“It was a dream no one is here except me,” Trunks said comfortingly 
Trunks was standing next to her with baggy purple pants on and no shirt (for all you girls yes he has a 12 pack) 
She started crying 
“I had a flashback… of when my father would hurt me,” she cried 
“Its ok he’s gone now he wont hurt you ever again” Trunks said, he sat on the end of her bed and took her in his arms comfortingly, he stroked her light brown hair and rocked her back and forth 
“He will never hurt you again I promise” Trunks whispered
