Okay, I suppose it's finally time to 'fess up. I've sort of lost interest in this site and haven't made any new covers for a while, as you can see. It's a difficult site to keep up, since it uses so many different free websites, and I just don't have the money for hosting/bandwidth right now. I'll leave this page up, but I probably won't be updating for a goodly while, and won't know when the other pages go away. I may come back to it sometime, but it won't be for a while. I apologize to fans of this site (all 3 of you ;) ). Anyone who wants to start their own site like this, for CD covers, I'll gladly send you all my cover stuff!
August 28, 2002 - Added a new area for Mars!
Fixed the CardCaptor Sakura covers!
Just a note, if you haven't picked it up already, I think you should go get Escaflowne - The TV Series (Limited Edition DVD Boxed Set). I LOVE Escaflowne, it's my favorite anime!
Just a few small rules for the benefit of those who have never donated CD covers here before:
1. Please do try and use the templates I've put here - this is because they are the exact size you'll need. You can make the dpi (dots per inch) larger, but the inches should stay the same. :)
2. Please do not use someone else's wallpaper for your CD cover. Most wallpaper sites have big rules against that sort of thing and they'll get mad at me if I allow it to occur here.
That's it! Just those two rules.
This site is for all the people with CD burners (CD recorders). The labels that come with the CDs, for the jewel cases, are usually pretty bland. Sure, you can draw a picture on the label, but it still has all those lines through it, not to mention the burnable CD company's logo. You already bought the product, why advertise? That's where this site comes in. All you have to do is choose a front cover, a back cover, download them (a fairly easy process, merely click on the thumbnail), print, then cut them out. (Use a straight-edge!) I recommend NOT printing from Netscape or I.E., because sometimes they can distort the images. Save them to your harddrive and print from any number of photo programs, such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, or even Microsoft Photo something-or-other that comes with some versions of Windows. Keep in mind that some of these require a lot of color ink.
Several wonderful CD Cover makers have donated their creations to this site. As for the rest, I do create all of these CD covers myself. Some were easy, while others were fairly time consuming. I want you to download them and have fun, and I just ask that you email me if you want to use them on your site. I also take requests. :) Feel free to link, too, I would be honored.
Want to make CD covers of your own? I've uploaded the templates I use right here in Photoshop format. 16k.
Anyway, on to the titles. You can also sumbit your own, if you want, I'd love to put them up (with credit of course). The top row is always the front cover, the bottom row is the back cover. On with the show!
