Write a story about your family on the American frontier at that time. What kind of adventures would you have?
Research that time and place in history- clothes,housing,food,schooling,games. Make a model of the type of house that they had back then, clothing they wore and food that they ate. Then invite friends and family over for an evening of frontier fun.
Have a day of school from that time- chalkboard and chalk instead of paper and pencil, candles instead of electric lights.
Your family has been chosen to start a settlement on Mars like she along with her family and other families settled the American frontier.
Research what is on Mars-climate(temperature,terrain,ect.)
What you have to do:
Decide-
How many families/people you are going to take with you.
What kind of animals and plants
What kind of housing are you going to have.
What kind of government, security, schooling, factories, stores.
Make a map/layout of what your settlement is going to look like.
Make posters and brochures advertising your settlement on Mars.
Write stories of your life at your settlement.
