It was December 15 year of 1998 when my mother gave birth to her youngest child.
And it's me, Angelyca de Guzman the child of Lorena and Roland de Guzman.At first, my father
thought that I am boy and that disappoints him. I have a sister that is 4 years older than me
named Anne. December is the month of giving, sharing and loving. They named me Angelyca because
they said I am an angel that is given to them since it is Jesus Christ's birth month. That day,
a new life has began.
I had my elementary days in Kalumpang Elementary School (K.E.S.) since our house is nearer there
than any other school. I walk everyday and it's not that tiring. Ever since my mom taught me go to
school by myself and become an independent student, I always woke up late and go to school late.
I'm in 4th grade when my mom stop preparing things for me for school and waking me up early, I am really
afraid that my terror adviser would be mad if I come to our room late so I tried my best to wake up really
early everyday. I remember our canteen that sells junkfoods and cookfoods. Our recess last for 30 mins.
It's really annoying that our school requires us to buy their meals like goto, soup and champorado. I hated it.
It costs Php 6.00 back then and I'm not sure if how much it is now. My everyday allowance is 30 pesos, it's enough
for me to fill my empty and hungry tummy. When I was in 6th grade, I became one of the editing staff in SPG
(Supreme Pupil Government) that is how they call it. Then I graduated as a 3rd honorable mention.
Highschool life is really memorable, this is the time that you will learn how to live life to the fullest, to love, to hate,
to make friends, to inspire yourself and make things worth the most.
When I graduated elementary, I decided to take exams in Marisci and in Sta. Elena Highschool and fortunately (I guess)
I didn't passed in Marisci. That was a relief to me, I think it will be hard for me to study there. I received
a letter from a Program in Sta. Elena which is called ESEP (Engineering in Science Education Program) that I am
qualify to study in their program. I am really glad that I have passed here in ESEP, I made new friends. In my first
year of highschool, being a freshman is really new to me. I am still adjusting myself from my alma matter.I've met sofia in
first day of school because she became my seatmate, then our adviser arranged our seat. He became my seatmate, he is really
annoying at first because he is really boastful and he is always teasing me. I can't get off him out of my mind, I don't know
if it is because I hate him that much or I like him that much. I am starting to feel that ventricular contraction of my heart and
I want to keep it as a secret. But secrets will always be revealed specially when it comes to crushes so what am I expecting?
He became my inspiration and until now he keeps on inspiring me. Gabby and Viel became my super bestfriend, we're always together
no matter happens. We make fun of stuffs and everything, we watch movies together, we share our lunch and food specially gabby because
she always bring food for us. I didn't receive any award this highschool but it's okay atleast I did my best because that program is survival
of the fittest and you must mentain your grade in 85 and above. I'm glad that I've reached my Junior life in ESEP.I will never forget my highschool life
and memories, Once I graduated highschool it will be a nostalgia to me.
