~~Day minus 2...

Angel woke up screaming. Why was he reliving this? The First had tormented him with this.

He knew why.

She'd sent him to hell and now she was putting him through it.

Buffy and Riley. He could just die - again - from the thought that he and she had once been so grossly cute.

Angel was furious. The bitch only had to cut him with the sword and throw it into the vortex to close it but no! She sent him in with it. And now he was back, pretending to be tortured by his experience.

Well, he was a different vampire now. He'd have his revenge. Time to find out if the Oracles actually had restored the curse as part of his demon condition.

He really did hate to do this to the witch. She hadn't known Buffy had never been told the spell was to be attempted again. This would hurt them all.

How delightful.

* ~~Day Zero...

Willow stamped her foot. "No!"

"Ooo. Tantrum from Red."

"Shove it Faith. In fact, all of you can shove it. I'm going home."

"But tonight! Demons rising, vampire rampage," Buffy blustered.

Willow snarled. "And maybe tonight you'll realize how much you need me."

"Wow. Willows version of 'screw you guys I'm going home'," Faith remarked when Willow stormed away.

"I only suggested..."

"Hey guys."

"Hey Cordy. Why are you here?"

"We need Faith."

"Violence?"

"Oh yeah. Angel came back yesterday covered in gouges and he bleeds so much! You'd think because he doesn't have his own blood he wouldn't have that much blood but wow!"

Faith chuckled. "On my way. B tell Red I said bye."

*

Willow stomped around Sunnydale. Something about her glare, or the crackling magical energies surrounding her, warned everyone to stay away. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of a single nasty. Maybe the Initiative had done a better job than anyone thought. Good for them. Maybe that would teach Buffy how it feels to no longer be needed.

Willow kicked a stone with her shoe and looked up when it hit another foot. "Oh. Hey Angel."

"Witch," he said dryly.

"Angelus?" she eyed him carefully. His stance suggested Angelus like his tone, but his eyes didn't.

She stood her ground. That was different. This would be more fun than he had imagined. "Just a very pissed off Angel."

Willow raised her hands channeling a bolt of magical energy at him, distracting him long enough for her to turn around and start running.

He was faster and caught her less than a block later. An arm around her waist held her back against his chest.

Willow began screaming, her fear driving her anger and indignation away. Her feet kicked at him, her blunt teeth clenched the fleshy palm over her mouth.

"No more witch," he growled with a shake.

She ignored his warning, trying to claw at him with her hands.

"Enough," Angel snarled, his sharp teeth tearing into her throat, the agony silencing her already muffled screams, stilling her protesting body.

He drank enough of her young magic-laced blood to weaken her and forced himself to stop. Holding her steady he put her feet on the ground, turning her as if she were a rag doll. "Willow I want you to understand that I am going to hurt you. I'm going to use you to get back at Buffy and Xander for my Hell-ish experience. I know you didn't mean to hurt me and *you* didn't but if you are a good girl and do as I say I'll let you be friends with them again, eventually, but not until they've learned how special and important you are, and maybe not for sometime after that."

She began to sob, little pathetic whimpers.

"Aw now Willow. Don't be like that. If you behave and do everything a good girl should, you'll be rewarded."

Her sobbing got worse, shaking her tiny frame, so he picked her up and carried her home.

To the mansion.
