Late last night (3rd July 2000) I was flicking through the channels on Sky Digital and Best of the Best II was just starting on Sky MovieMax 4. As it is mentioned in David Boreanaz' filmography I decided to watch it even though it was midnight! The film is a really cheesy martial arts movie sequel with Eric Roberts and Chris Penn where illegal fights take place in a ring below a nightclub like in the Angel episode 'The Ring' (but without the demons!). The fight is to the death and there are no rules and Chris Penn takes on the big ape who owns the club as whoever beats him wins the club. He thinks it will be an easy fight as the guy hasn't fought anyone in months as no one manages to get past the other fighers to reach him. Needless to say he ends up dead and Eric Robert's son sees it happen. To cut out lots of details the good guys get revenge and win!

I watched every scene like a hawk to see if I could spot a youthful looking DB (the film dates from 1992) but didn't see him at all.

If it is anything like Brad Pitt's appearance in the Charlie Sheen film 'No Man's Land' its probably a case that I blinked at the wrong moment and missed him!
