| Julie Hamilton to tour the world by Brad Devo Massive Magazine, 3rd March 2003 |
| After taking the Australian charts by storm, Aus-rock band Julie Hamilton have agreed to tour the world to promote their self-titled album. "We definately hope to make an impression on the Americans" enthuses bass-man Kelsey Vandalay. It doesn't matter how much money we make, but to do well in the US would make it easier to bring our music to the rest of the world. We have a message to tell, and we want the world to hear it." When questioned about the recent success of their first single "Fallen Angels", vocalist Angel Sorion says that he was "surprised as everyone else". "For a dark-rock band like us to become number one shows that the world is definately changing. People aren't as innocent as they were in thelast century. But the tour will determine if the rest of the world will follow the revolution that Australia has begun." The tour kicks off on the 12th of March, with countries such as Japan, Germany, Britain, Canada and America on the bill. "I've always wanted to see the world" says Sorion "I've never been on a plane before. Now it looks like I'll be on one everyday!" |
