Demonic Capture

Author: Alicia (a.k.a. Lady Angel) Email: [email protected] Rating: PG 15 Timeline: 2009 Summary: What is Sunnydale without the Initiative...? Notes: Okay, I've turned my smutfic 'Demonic Fever' into a series. ::slaps her hand:: Shame on me!!!
"Where is that useless piece of vampire flesh?!?!" Buffy heard her lover and husband, Angelus, rage to one of his lesser minions. "I don't know, Master. He left at sunset last night to go hunting, but he didn't return before sunrise this morning..." Buffy made her presence known. "He's the fifth one this week, Angel. And one of them wasn't just another one of our minions, Derek is missing also." Derek was one of Angelus' more recent creations. Not only that, but he was smart, not just another mindless drone, but he could think and he could fight. He had been well on his way to becoming Angelus' new right-hand vampire. "How about I take Dru and Spike for a little re-con tonight?" she suggested. "You stay here and talk to the others, see what they know..." He nodded reluctantly. *~*~*~* The trio of vampires headed out just after sundown. They decided to cover the local bar first, then check out a couple of the many cemeteries. The bar was a bust. None of the demons that regularly frequented the establishment remembered seeing the missing vampires since they had failed to return to the mansion, and neither had the bartender. Their first stop was one of the larger feeding areas for vamps. There were no apparent signs of ashes, so it was unlikely that the missing vampires had been staked by either a new Slayer, or anyone else for that matter. It was roughly an hour before sunrise before they reached the fourth cemetery. Buffy, Spike and Drusilla all headed in different directions, checking for vampire ashes, or signs of any other demons that had a thing for killing vampires. Buffy had just finished combing her section, when she saw Spike approach. She failed to sense the human in military garb coming out from behind a tree, about thirty feet away from her. Spike had noticed, though. "Look out!" he tried to warn her, but his warning had barely left his lips when both he and his sire's lady were paralyzed and rendered unconscious. Only Buffy noticed Drusilla stop herself from stepping out of the bushes when she saw her lover and her sire on the ground. The other vampire's eyes widened in shock and horror. She stealthily exited the area when she saw her sire's lips form the name, "Angel..." He would hear about this... *~*~*~* (AN: The Initiative holding cells, are less laboratory-like and more like kennels. You know, they're like rabid dogs, so why don't we treat them as such...kinda thing...k?) It was the voices that awoke her. "Shit! She's stirring. Quick, get her into the cage..." "What the hell? They don't normally get up for hours..." "She must be different or something..." "We must study this one carefully..." Buffy felt herself being thrown onto a cold, hard surface. She shielded her eyes when she opened them to bright light. She heard a door clang shut behind her. Buffy slowly turned around to see a group of humans peering down at her through the cage. She didn't bother to ask where she was or who they were. As she looked around the numerous caged vampires and demons, it wasn't hard to figure out that they had been captured. A look at the clothing of the group of people clued her in to who they were. Lab coats and military standard issue. Scientists and military. No points for guessing what they were going to do with her... The other vampires were suspiciously silent. The scientists looked around at the vampires, frowning. "They're all quiet," the woman observed. The man nodded his agreement. Buffy didn't bother to signal them. If she did while the group's attention was averted, then the vampires suddenly grew noisy, they would grow even more suspicious. She saw every single one of hers and Angelus' missing minions, as well as Spike, in similar cages. "Quite a collection you have here..." she commented, as she took note of the number of different demons that were being held. The scientists regarded her in surprise, while the military goons looked on in disdain. "Well, at last, a vampire that can make decent conversation. I'm surprised. All we've heard so far are constant unpleasant growls," mocked the woman. "Most of we vampires learn early on to speak only when our masters speak to us, but my master isn't here...is he?" Buffy lied. She didn't have a master...she was the master. Well, one of them. A couple of the other vampires and demons chuckled, knowing exactly who she was, especially after witnessing her little dilemma a few weeks ago at the party. None of those who recognized her would call any attention to her in any way, knowing that if anything ever happened to her, Angelus would do more damage than the group of so-called humans. Buffy just sat there looking mockingly innocent, just as she heard Spike groan and start to come around. They all turned to face him. "Cor, what 'it me?" "Them," Buffy answered matter-of-factly, while indicating the humans on the otherside of the cage doors. The two vampires were separated by another cage. Buffy finally noticed the nametag on the scientist. Maggie Walsh. She spoke to one of the army goons. "Were they together when you captured them?" The big blond one answered. "We think so. The male hostile was on his way to the female, and he warned her when he spotted Graham about to take her down." "Were there any others?" Buffy listened intently. At least she could find out whether Dru got away in time to get Angelus. "No, we didn't find any others." The woman named Maggie nodded. She turned to Buffy. "Do you have a name?" Buffy raised a delicate brow. "We all do, but I'm guessing that you really don't care..." She smiled mockingly. "True, but we have to catalogue you somehow. We have found records with various names and rough ages of the older hostiles, and we like to know when we find them. So far, we've managed to find a number of the lesser ones from this book, but none of the higher ups. "It's a real ego booster to find out that you've got the catch of the day...There's a rumor going around that a few of the big shots are in the area, but no one here seems to want to comment..." Buffy smirked. "When tattling on your master gets you more than dead? You've got to be kidding..." "Oh, come on...we'll go easier on you if you cooperate," she suggested. "Oh, yeah, sure...I heard you earlier on. You may have temporarily incapacitated my body, but not my mind," Buffy replied sweetly. She continued to sit in the middle of the cage, knowing that at any moment, another vampire would try to take the heat off her. Three...two...one... "Hey! I'll do your deal!" came the male voice. Bingo... The group of humans turned around to the dark-haired vampire in the cage opposite Buffy. Derek... Buffy growled in warning...pretending to threaten him, but she gave him an encouraging smile, since their tormentors couldn't see it. Maggie had turned to him, eyebrows raised. "Yes? And just what would you have to offer...?" He pretended to be flustered and a little scared. "I know her...and her master. She's only a newbie, but she was a witch when she was human...her master isn't all that old either. In Sunnydale, you don't have to be..." "Really?" Maggie took down some notes. Buffy took her cue. "Traitor!" she growled. The group of humans left with their useless information, and inside, Buffy was more than satisfied. When they got out of there, she would recommend Derek to Angelus for a nice little reward. She had no doubt that Angelus would get her out of there... The people were enough to make her want to kill them, even with her soul... *~*~*~* "My lady, they give us drugged blood, then run tests on us," one of Angelus' minions informed her. Buffy gestured to the surveillance camera in the corner of the room. "We're being watched, I don't want know if they can hear us. Say nothing that they don't already know." "Buffy?" came Spike's pained voice. She turned to face her husband's childe. "Spike, are you okay?: He nodded, then grimaced. "How are we getting out of here?" "How do you think?" she grinned. "Be good and pray for the aid of an angel?" he suggested? "Exactly!" So they waited... *~*~*~* The blood cane within minutes, dropping from a trap door in the ceiling of the cage. One of the not-so-smart demons suggested that she have some if she was hungry, since he had heard that all the scientists did to vampires was render them harmless to humans, and since she didn't kill humans anyway... Many of the other demons looked at him with expressions that could only be classed as disbelief or incredulity, while the vampires all showed their true faces and growled menacingly. Buffy sat herself down in disgust, careful to avoid the tainted blood... *~*~*~* It was fourteen hours later when the techs and the green boys came back with yet another victim. Buffy could barely repress the groan that had formed in her throat when she felt Angel's presence. One look at Spike told her that she wasn't mistaken... Buffy watched in amusement as she saw Angelus begin to awaken on the stretcher. "Shit! Another early riser!" "Hmm...put him in next to the mouthy blond," Walsh ordered. Angelus grunted as he hit the hard floor and immediately rose to his feel. Beautifully outraged, Buffy admired. Her lover lunged at the two boys who had tossed him inside. The boys scampered out and quickly slammed the cage door shut. It was only after they had Angelus safely caged, that the same blonde goon who had had a go at her, hit her Angel through the cage with the butt of his rifle. He fell to the back of the cage. He crawled over to the side of the cage nearest Buffy. She crawled closer to him, her fingers reaching through the gaps in the cage to touch the already-healing wound on his face that the butt of the rifle had caused. The smell of his blood, so close to her lips caused her to whimper in hunger. He nodded his ascent, so she brought her blood-covered fingers to her mouth, her tongue sneaking out between her pale lips. The group of humans watched in fascination at the seemingly erotic scene unfolding before their eyes... Spike rolled his eyes, but the other demons and vampires turned away out of respect. Walsh took more notes...taking in the demons' apparent 'shunning' of the couple. "Looks like the bitch is in heat! Come 'ere, sweet thing..." the boy commented, grabbing his crotch in an obscene gesture. Buffy didn't acknowledge him, but Angelus and the entire block of demons growled menacingly in some way or another. She touched Angelus' rigid face, calming him, just as the woman, Walsh, shouted..."That's enough, Agent Finn!" "I apologize, Professor Walsh." But he didn't look in the least apologetic. "Let's just go," the professor stated. The other humans followed. Buffy eagerly bit into the two fingers her lover offered her. He was still flush from feeding well, recently, whilst Buffy had failed to eat for a good forty-eight hours, since she hadn't fed before her search for the missing vampires the previous night. "'Ey, mate? You 'right?" Spike caught Angelus' attention as Buffy sipped from his fingers. He nodded to his childe. "Is she trustworthy?" Spike knew exactly who he was referring to. "You cane in 'ere without knowing for sure? Peaches, you really don't have a death wish, so ya, mate?" Spike answered sarcastically. Angelus almost snorted. "Well, you didn't think that I was gonna leave her in here with you?" Spike grinned. "I would'a taken good care of her, mate..." Angelus grinned back. "Be careful, there, Will, you're drooling..." *~*~*~* Not one hour later, chaos began to reign... The lights began to flicker, before dying completely, the electronic locks on the cages all shut down, thus freeing every demon in the facility. Buffy grinned at her husband as they exited their cages and immediately went to each other. Spike hit Angel on the back. "We'd better save that 'til we get ourselves outta here, mate." The couple agreed and began to lead the vampires and various other demons out of the facility. They came upon unarmed military goons, obviously on a break, making short work of them. As a precaution, Buffy told the group. "Speak no one's name until we return to our lairs and hideouts. In the event that they are able to start up again and someone here gets out alive, they'll know who we are and we don't want that." They all agreed. *~*~*~* It wasn't hard getting out of the facility. Many of the commandos had to have been out on a patrol, Buffy surmised, as it took very little time to fight the few humans guarding the underground building. As they hit the surface, the area was amassed with more armed vampires than Buffy had seen in her life. Not only had the commandos been on a patrol, but they had been captures, Buffy amended to herself, as she watched her childe come forward, a devilish grin on her face. "Which would you like, Mummy?" she enquired with deceptive softness. Buffy looked around. Dru knew that she wouldn't do anything about the human prisoners, but Angelus on the other hand... "Well, well, well...if it isn't Agent Finn..." Buffy strutted up to the boy, who began sweating profusely. Behind her, Angelus and Spike grinned, knowing what was coming. Many of the other demons had already left, thinking that they weren't going to see anything interesting and wanting to get back to their lairs before sunrise, but the vampires continued to watch their master and his mistress. She continued to face the boy while issuing orders to the others. "I don't care what happens to the others, just don't tell me. Make sure that every one of you is back before sunrise, because I'm not going through something that degrading again...for any of you." The vampires nodded, knowing that she spoke the truth. They quickly left, save for the one holding Agent Finn. "Him, you can bring back with us." The vampire grinned at his mistress and knocked the boy out, before heading to the mansion. Buffy strode over to her childe. "You did a good job, Dru." Drusilla hugged her sire. "All of that technical knowledge comes in handy on occasion, doesn't it?" "So does your understanding of the stockmarket. What are we up to now?" Buffy queried. The younger vampiress shrugged. "About fifteen million a piece, seven for Spike and two for Angelus." Buffy raised her eyebrows. "Two million in six months?" Drusilla shrugged off the praise. "Damn, I did good with you, girl!" Drusilla gave her sire a mock leer. "I know!" "Hey, cut that out!" Angelus yelled from behind her, laughing. The two females swiveled around. "Now, Buffy, why were you asking about our finances?" her lover asked. Buffy threw the concealed entrance to their former prison. "I don't like this place at the moment, I want to go on a little trip." She looked at each of the three vampires. Angelus, Drusilla and Spike. "Want to join me on a tour of Europe?" Angelus grinned, as did their childer. They headed back to the mansion, Buffy and her Angel in the middle, their favorite childe by their side, their hands linked. But first, Angelus, Spike and Dru had a certain Agent Finn to play with...
