The girl was dancing down the street, her long dark hair swirling around her like a halo. As he watched from the shadows, she stopped under the streetlight and swayed to the beat only she heard over the headphones in her ears. She began to sing along and he listened. It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart. Without saying a word, you can light up the dark. Try as I may, I can never explain What I hear when u don't say a thing. Cor, but she has a beautiful voice. Better than half the bleedin artists out there! Keeping to the shadows, he moved closer. Not even aware he was doing so. The smile on your face let's me know that you need me. There's a truth in your eyes, saying you'll never leave me. The touch of your hand, says you'll catch me where ever I fall. You say it best, when you say nothing at all. His game face to the fore, he was so close it wouldn't take much to reach out and grab her. Rob her like he had planned. But that idea had vanished as soon as she began to sing. Dazedly he watched her hips as she moved. The music seemed to originate from her. Making her seem otherwordly. It was hypnotic. His features relaxed into his normal veneer and he waited. The smile on your face... The truth in your eyes... The touch of your hand let's me know how much you need me. As the song ended and her voice trailed off, he found himself drawn closer. Wanting to touch her, talk to her. Stepping into the dim light given off by the lamp above her head, he moved up behind her. Extending an arm, he lightly placed his hand on her shoulder. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" a startled scream escaped her lips and he jumped back, his vampiric ridges rising. He forced himself back to his human facade as she whirled around. "Oh my god...you caused heart palpitations." she half laughed, holding a hand to her chest. He smiled as he heard her heart racing. She smiled back. "Sorry pet. Didn't mean to."
