The kitchen in the middle of the remodel. On the far wall, you can see that the built in fridge space has been framed, as has the pantry. We also put up new drywall on the ceiling and pocket halogen spot lights. Angela's father, Roy, is on the left, Angela in the middle, and AJ, our contractor, on the right. We also put insulation on all the new walls and moved the pantry door to the right by 15".
The kitchen, viewed from the guest/dining room entrance. The entire kitchen has been gutted and floors stripped. Mike and Angela's father, Roy, spent a week restoring the foundation under the kitchen, reframing the walk-in pantry, and modernizing the kitchen's utility. Note the old cabinets, linoleum, and appliances. All this will be replaced with windowed cabinets running 10 feet high, hardwood floors, a built in commercial fridge, and pocket door pantry.
