I believe that airplane pilots, personal and commercial, should have the right to carry arms. To prevent such an event as 9.11.01, we must take such measures necessary. If the pilots had permission to carry weapons, the planes downright wouldn't have been crashed, because the pilots would have been able to fight, and many many MANY lives would have been spared. If you're in the air, and you're hijacked, there is absolutely nothing you can do except fight with all your might, because no matter what you do, you have nothing to lose by fighting. You're gonna die anyway, right? So why not give it your all? If you're a pilot, and your "all" includes a gun, then HELL YEA use it, and save all those lives.
