Just Remember
Its just one week ago, that I married my long -time boyfriend Joel. Now Im the proud Mrs. Madden :-)
At this moment were at the airport of L.A. and wait for our plane.
We`re gonna fly to this country, where we met the very first time Australia.
As we had to be here so early, Im so tired. Thats the reason why I fall asleep so quikly in the plane.
"Get up, Sweety! Were landing! ", my husband wakes me up affectionately. The view out of the window is adorable. Its night and you can see a few lightsvery beautiful.
Joel smiles at me. "What?" I have no idea, why hes smiling at me like he does. "Nothing! Its just, that Im happy to be in this country, where I met my big love!", hes still smiling. I just could answer this.
"We wish you a nice stay!", sounds the voice from the speaker. "We`ll have!", I whisper.
The taxi brings us to our hotel in Queensland safely. "Sweetheart, I wanna see Uluru and of course the Opera House in Sydney!", I remember Joel. "But dont forget, that were going to go to the Crocodile Hunters Zoo tomorrow!" "How could I forget this?!?!",
Joel has problems to wake me up next day. But he gets it :-)
"Come on, Honey! Remember, we want to go to the zoo!", he is really excited.
This zoo is this place, where we met. I just need 15 min. in the bathroom.
"Now we can go!", I say. "OK!"
I can really hear, how happy he is. We just need 45 min. from our hotel to the zoo.
But thats ok. As long as were in the zoo right now :-)
Were walking hand-in-hand through the zoo. Suddenly both of us stop. We look at each other. "Here is it!", we say at the same time.
At this moment, its like a flashback. I really could see how I walked there, 7 meters away from us, 3 years ago.
I looked at the wallabys, standing next to me. I really liked them, they were so cute.
Well, I turned and crashed into somebody. "Oh, Im sorryIm Joel!", he said 3 years ago.
One month after this crash, we had our first date and it was so romantic. After one more month, we were a couple.
And now after 3 years, we are Mr. and Mrs. Madden.
I could never forget this place where I found my perfect guy!
