Larger flying scale models

This is a dime scale (16" span) Hurricane built from the Comet plan (downloaded from Dave Livesay's site). It's covered with Nicole tissue in sinister-looking nightfighter colors. Flights are not long, but it looks really great in the air. Click on the picture to see it in flight.

This is an Itoh built from an old Modela kit that is still available from Hobby Club. It is about 28" in span and absolutely great in the air on two loops of 1/8" rubber.
