RealAudio Selections

Here is a list of selected RealAudio files taken from the Final Fantasy 8 soundtrack.  You need a RealPlayer to hear them, and if you're interested in buying game soundtracks you can do so at Soundtrack Central or Game Music Online.

Blue Fields--The overworld overture, a vast improvement over FF7 but not as good as FF3 IMHO.

Dance With Balamb Fishes
--A moderate quadruple dance (almost a polka) used in Dollet and the Lunar Base.

Timber--Also known as Martial Law, this is the theme of the industrial town of Timber where iron horses and their rails run in every direction.

The Spy--A groovy funk type of song, this is used when the SeeDs infiltrate the Galbadian Missile Base.

The Landing--Played when the SeeDs land on Dollet's beach for their first mission.

Eyes on Me--The vocal love song of the game.  Japanese pop, and it's not too annoying!

Lithos Lusec Wecos Venosec--Theme of the sorceresses.

Ultimecia's Castle--Need I really describe this one?

Force Your Way--Absolutely awesome boss music.

Man with the Machine Gun--Laguna's battle theme.

Premonition--Theme for fighting a sorceress.

Maybe I am a Lion
--There are three unique songs for the final battle, this is one of them.

The Dream--Music for Ultimecia's final form.

Ending Theme--The last half or so of the ending, including a beautiful orchestral arrangement of the Final Fantasy Theme.
