Ahhh Chubs! Never the most patient of people and so it was always extra fun when the opportunity to wind him up arose! None more so than one night on the corridor when John, Andy and Brian joined forces. For some reason Chubs wanted peace and quiet and so the boys kept ringing the corridor phone, which was set so high that it could deafen a pigeon with no ears residing in Chester-le-street!
It soon got boring so the boys put one of john's speakers outside of his door and pumped up the volume with "Somebody answer the phone" blaring out at the same time as ringing the phone again. It was very entertaining for us but not for Chubs who was just about to cut the cable to the speaker before we rescued it. Cheers Chubs!
