Now Simon will be the first to admit that when he first came to uni he was a little "sheltered" and wasn't too keen on the old ale. Anyway his birthday cam along and we were determined to see him 'spanked' for the first time. Knowing he wouldn't drink at the rate we wanted him to, we decided to 'help' him out and spike a few of his drinks with shots etc. Anyway we were in wearmouth canteen happily drinking until closing time. Simon was happily drunk by this time so we all went back to floor 3. Johnnie insisted on giving the birthday boy a piggy back - next thing we know there are bodies all over the floor and blood everywhere as Simon fell back and cracked his head on the corner of the wall.
Off Simon went to A&E with Johnnie and Andy Strachan while they waited for 6 hours to have his head sewn up. We felt rather guilty Simon but heck, it was memorable wasn't it?
