The Theatre Program of Victor J. Andrew High School has been long recognized in the community for its entertaining and innovative productions. The Program includes nearly 150 students involved in at least one of the Program's five theatrical productions every year. Students of the Andrew Theatre Program actively participate in every aspect of theatre production, including acting and improvisation, technical design and construction, as well as participation in the orchestra pit and management of the house audience. The Theatre Program at Victor J. Andrew High School has developed a reputation as being a fine arts leader in the community with its intensive programming, enthusiastic student participation, and knowledgeable staff.
Victor J. Andrew High School was selected by the American High School Theatre Festival Board of Advisors to participate in the largest and most prestigious arts festival in the world.
In our acceptance of this generous acknowledgement and offer, we recognize the need for support from our community, family, and friends. Members of the Theatre Program, staff, and students alike, are working intensively on fundraising efforts to assist in realizing the dream of taking a show to Edinburgh and performing for the world at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. There will be several ways to support the dream inspired by our selection to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Donations will always be welcome, but we also ask that you attend our productions and come out to support us at our fundraisers where you can get the latest information on how close we are to achieving our dreams.
