Almighty Father, look with mercy on this your family for which our Lord Jesus Christ was content to be betrayed and given into the hands of wicked men and to suffer death upon the cross; who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit one God, now and forever. Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit is the whole body of the Church is governed and sanctified: hear our prayer which we offer for all your faithful people; that each in his vocation and ministry may serve you in holiness and truth to the glory of your Name; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Merciful God, who made all men and hate nothing that you have made: you desire not the death of a sinner but rather that he should be converted and live.
