外物(十)
1 Don’t take anything too far. Doing something to proper extent is the right way and best choice.
什麼事都不要做過了頭，適可而止才是中道，也是最好的選擇。
2 A personal independence of conduct can incur attention from other. If he becomes famous, his deeds and behavior will be supervised and surveyed, then he loses freedom.
一個人特立獨行就會引起別人的注意。出了名，行為舉止都受到大眾的監督與審視，那就失去自由了。

能幹的員工，老闆不會給他太多的休息時間，他想過悠遊卒歲的日子就難了。政績出眾的官員，百姓不會允許他有休息的機會，他想退休安享餘年那就難了。所以，修行的人被要求不預謀、不做事業、不求世榮。可是如果處在緊急危難之際，修行人也不須擔心，謀略它會自然的產生，以求勝出，安度險境。
德溢乎名，名溢乎暴，謀稽乎誸，知出乎爭，柴生乎守官，事果乎眾宜。

Garden witnesses flourishing weed overwhelms the flower, fruit tree, and vegetable, so the gardener has to toil to weed.
園子裡的草稀稀疏疏地生在各處，它們不是那麼顯眼，也不妨礙果蔬、花木的生長，所以園主沒有動鋤頭清理它們。可是當春雨下了一陣子，雜草得到充份的養份，開始長高，大量繁殖。園子望去雜草叢生，遮掩了花木，妨礙了果蔬的生長後，園主不得已，只得辛苦地將雜草鏟除。
5 The hoed weed never expects that the befalling result is for the occasion of flourishing and enough nutrition.
那些被鏟起倒置在地上的雜草們，它們又哪裡料到今天的下場正是茂盛、營養、好時機等種下的惡果呢？
春雨日時，草木怒生，銚鎒於是乎始修，草木之倒植者過半而不知其然。
