齊物論（五）
1 One night, Chuang Tzu dreamed that he was a butterfly fluttering its wings and perched on here and there happily. At that time, in every point of view, he was a butterfly and completely didn’t sense that he was a man.
有一天夜裡， 莊子夢見自己是一隻蝴蝶; 拍著翅膀，飛到這又飛到那兒好不快樂。此時從各種角度看，莊子百分之百是一隻蝴蝶，他完全沒有意識到自己是人;
昔者莊周夢為胡蝶，栩栩然胡蝶也。自喻適志與！不知周也。
2 After a while, he wakened up and sensed that actually he was a man.
過了一會兒他睡醒了，這才意識到原來自己是人。
3 When he sensed that he was a man, he doubted whether the awakening was actually another dream, and whether he actually was a butterfly and then became a man, just because of dreaming.
然而就在他想自己原來是人的時候，他又開始懷疑， 此刻我醒了，可是醒這件事是不是又是另一場夢呢？是不是我實際上是蝴蝶，只因作夢才轉變。
俄然覺，則蘧蘧然周也。不知周之夢為胡蝶與？胡蝶之夢為周與？
4 Chuang Tzu asked himself: I altered between butterfly and man. Is it the so-called "Thing Transmutation"?
莊子自問：我一會兒是蝴蝶，一會兒是人，是不是這樣的轉變就是所謂 "物化"呢？
周與胡蝶，則必有分矣。此之謂物化。
