Chocolate Cherry Cake

An Old Family Favorite (known by a different name)

Ingredients:  

1 box chocolate cake mix

3 eggs

1 can cherry pie filling

1 cup sugar

5 Tbsp butter or margarine

1/3 cup milk

1 package( 6 oz) semi-chocolate chips

Directions: Combine cake mix, eggs and pie filling. Blend well. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when touched. Frost when cool.

Melt the butter, add the sugar and milk. Cook for about 1 minute. Add chocolate chips, stir until melted and pour over the cake.
