Video Game info Ability: Synchronize- If mew isinflicted with a status problem the opponent is inflicted with the same status problem. Mew can learn any TM or HM. You can get Mew on your Pokemon video game through a special Nintendo event or on Emerald by getting a ticket to Faraway Island through a special Nintendo event or you can get Mew on the orgional Red, Blue, and Yellow games for GameBoy Color by using the Mew trick. Or if you have Pokemon Diamond or Pearl you might find someone in the Global Trade Center that would be willing to trade you one for somthing good. Check out NintendoWiFi.com to look for local WiFi hotspots. The Mew Trick This only works for the Red, Blue, and Yellow GamBoy Color games! First catch an Abra and have it with you. Battle all of the trainers north of the nuget bridge exept for the one with the slowpoke and the one just left of the nuget bridge in the grass. Make sure you have been to the Cerulean Pokemon Center before. Then walk a few steps towards the trainer in the grass to the left of the nuget bridge and press start quickly before he battles you. Then go to Abra and use teleport. Now you should be in front of the Cerulean Pokemon center and your start button should not be working. Now go battle the trainer with the slowpoke and defeat him. After you defeat him your start button should work. Now teleport back to the pokemon center go to nuget bridge and walk a few steps onto it and your start menue should pop up. Press B and you will encounter Mew! I have tried this trick before and it works! U.S.A. Events On Septembet 30, 2006 toysRus gave away Mew for for Ruby, Sahphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald.
