DishDiva dice: Anastacia, we have so many of your fans from around the world asking when you will be touring in their countries. So, let's start with this one. What's your tour schedule looking like?
Anastacia_Live dice: Next week I'll be in London and Germany. I'll be at the Viva Comet awards in Colgne, Germany on the 16th and at Top of the Pops in the UK on the 17th.
Anastacia_Live dice: I'll be doing my full tour in the spring of next year.
Irvol en Onstage1 pregunta: All your songs tell great stories. Do real life experiences inspire you to write your songs or are they fictional? Do you write both the lyrics and the music?
Anastacia_Live dice: I write all the lyrics to all of my songs. I collaborate with producers for the music and I sing the bass parts or precussive part with my voice. They are definitely all my life experiences and what I've learned from those experiences.

Anastacia_Live dice: I admire pretty much anybody who works hard and has a good career goal.
Anastacia_Live dice: But I think that because I was raised in a theater family I was raised on Barbra Streisand and Elton John and I've admired their strength in their voice.

Anastacia_Live dice: She called me freak of nature because I was always really loud. At the age of 3 I would just sing in the back seat of her car and she would just call me "freak!"

Anastacia_Live dice: I would love to work with Sting, Aerosmith and John Meyer.

Anastacia_Live dice: I absolutely loved being there, it's one of the few places I've been that I felt in touch with the whole world at the same time.

Anastacia_Live dice: You should never feel bad for me. It was what allowed me to have the strength to be the person I am today. Crohn's has taught me to live each day and appreciate every day.

Anastacia_Live dice: No, he didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I was expecting that going in. In respect for my dad, I didn't want to talk about it and Howard let it go. He was kinder than to most.

Anastacia_Live dice: No, it's not as glamorous as I expected, sometimes it's not glamorous at all. It's a lot of hard work and I believe there are fun parts, but for the most part, it's hard days and long schedules.

Anastacia_Live dice: I just finished doing a song for a record Disney is putting out for their 100th anniversary. I redid "Someday My Prince Will Come" my way, it's not what you'll expect.
Anastacia_Live dice: They'll be releasing it in late September.

Anastacia_Live dice: It was inspired by an old relationship but written more for everybody has experienced in their life, either a lover, friend or life in general.

Anastacia_Live dice: It wasn't my intention to write a classic, but I think when you write songs that have a true meaning in your heart, that's what makes them classic.

Anastacia_Live dice: I love London, Paris, many parts of Germany, but most of all I just love Europe. The culture and the people there.
Anastacia_Live dice: There's a freedom in Europe that hasn't hit the U.S. from a culture standpoint.

Anastacia_Live dice: Anastacia is something my mom gave me. I've been told it's from a princess in Russia, but I don't know if there is a meaning.

Anastacia_Live dice: Because I have to spend time in the U.S. to promote my record here I haven't been able to spend as much time as I want to overseas. I think of my fans often and will be back as soon as my schedule will allow.

Anastacia_Live dice: I usually relax in front of the TV and try to unwind so I can actually sleep.

Anastacia_Live dice: I like to have dinner with friends and spend time with my family because I don't get to do that very often.

Anastacia_Live dice: My inspiration for the song "Secrets" was basically about children, whether it was child abuse or neglect, where the parents didn't pay attention to the kids and I wrote this song to give the kids a strong voice and to not be afraid.

Anastacia_Live dice: I will take a short break but would definitely like to have an album out for Christmas of next year so I'll head back into the studio for that.
