To land ships pull to harbour

Cars with grace give in

Chaos - for a moment!

Fear: incapable of success?

A thousand four hundred tasks

Carved out of a sunrise – dead!

 

Unoccupied mind rewritten

Something to-do undone

Without ‘reliable’ system

Function industrial gone

Absurd trusted - for a moment!

Smile: this possible paradise?

 

Pregnant metallic woman

Offered the passenger seat

No moral right none wrong

We chug on interchangeable

Tracks fixed onto all that remains

Moving: wide rivers of love

Look they flow – Mum!

The young girl stares

Beyond a polluted window

Feeling a machine collapse.
