Synopsis

Mark gets a call from Sam and she tells him that she misses him. Later, Chuck and Ace are playing ping-pong at the Thunder Tower and Chuck wins. Ace gets mad and pegs the ball at Chuck, who ducks just in time. Mark tells Ace to go easy because it's just a game. Ace storms off and Mark resolves to find out why he's acting so out of control before he seriously hurts someone.

Cheseborough is taking his class to the Friendship Farm. Mark has his letter to Sam with him. Chuck tells Mark just after they get off the bus that he thinks Ace's code has been scrambled. Wayne interrupts their conversation and Mark puts his letter down on the table to defend Chuck. Before it can get ugly, Cheseborough tells them to break it up and Mark leaves, forgetting about his letter.

Heather and Kat get off the bus discussing Mark. Heather thinks that Kat likes Mark and tells Kat that Mark has a girlfriend at boarding school. When Kat leaves, Heather sees Mark's letter and picks it up.

At the Carnival, the Rat and Duff are on their way to see Kilobyte when Ace arrives demanding answers. Rat spills the beans that Lady Illusion gave him human emotions. Kilobyte starts to drain Ace but Ace zaps him. Lady Illusion tells him to escape while he has the chance because Kilobyte is too strong for him. When Ace leaves, Kilobyte tells Duff to follow him. Lord Fear sees that Ace hurt Kilobyte and thinks that if he can be hurt, he can be defeated.

Back at the Farm, Heather shows Kat the letter. Kat is upset that Mark lied to her and doesn't give him a chance to explain when he joins them. Wayne takes Chuck's game and Cheseborough interrupts them before Chuck can get it back. Lester Crocker (I think he's the owner of the Farm) tells the class to pair up and Wayne ends up with Chuck. Kat and Mark also end up as a pair.

During one of the exercises, Mark sees Ace fly by. When Mark comes up behind Ace, Ace almost shoots him. Ace starts to tell Mark about Kilobyte but Cheseborough and Les come by and see the hole in the door left by Ace's lightning bolt.

Kilobyte arrives at the Farm and tells Duff to catch a wasp. One bites Duff on the nose. Kilobyte allows the captured wasp to sting him.

Mark is fixing the door when Brett, Kat and Heather walk by on their way to ride the four-wheelers. Kat doesn't hang around but Brett tells Mark that she can't stay mad forever. Chuck is chasing Wayne through the woods after his game boy. Duff takes down all the guide signs to use as firewood.

Duff, the Rat and Rotgut meet Fred, the giant mutated wasp. Kilobyte tells Rotgut to go stir up the mortals in the hopes of flushing Ace out. The Rat goes with him and Duff goes off in search of more firewood. Wayne and Chuck realize that they're lost. Chuck gets his game back but they both run when they hear Rotgut coming.

Les is reading the class a soppy story about a ghost and a zombie. The Rat zaps Kat's bike, making it go out of control. Mark hears Kat screaming and goes after her on one of the other bikes. Les's story is putting the class to sleep. Rotgut decides that he's lonely and needs a hug. Everyone runs when he comes up asking for a hug.

Mark is still chasing Kat when Kilobyte comes after him. Ace fights Kilobyte and gets his butt kicked. Mark saves Kat and Kat thinks he's a hero and forgives him for not telling her about Sam. The Rat is confused that Kilobyte didn't destroy Ace when he had the chance and Kilobyte tells him that Ace's emotions will destroy him.

Cheseborough thinks that Mark dressed up as a zombie to scare everyone but Kat defends him and tells everyone that he saved her. Heather is the only person who isn't happy about that. Chuck and Wayne arrive back safely.

Ace finally has the chance to tell Mark about Kilobyte. Mark believes that they can defeat Kilobyte but Ace isn't so sure. He's lost his confidence as well as the fight. Ace flies off, leaving a confused Mark behind.

Quotes

Chuck: And the crowd goes wild as Chuck Mugel is crowned Champion of the World and the Sixth Dimension! Ha!
Ace: I want a rematch. Now.

Ace: I don't lose. Ever. I don't understand what's wrong with me.

Chuck: Two words, dude. Anger Management.

Cheseborough: Hey, knock it off, you three. This field trip to Friendship Farm is to foster a feeling of unity amoung our freshmen homeroom. So, stay away from each other!

Kilobyte: I've named him Fred.
Duff: You're gonna call that thing ... Fred?
Kilobyte: (defensively) What's wrong with Fred?! I like it!
Rat: Er, it's a great name, boss.

Mark: Don't worry, Ace. We'll get him. We always do.
Ace: Maybe not this time, kid.
