Ace Lightning

Ace Lightning is the superhero of Mark Hollander's computer game. He is trying to get all the pieces of the Amulet of Zoar so that he can send Lord Fear and his Evils back to prison in the Sixth Dimension. He lives in the Thunder Tower.

One of Lord Fear's Evils. Anvil is a big, dim-witted rhino-looking creature with an iron anvil on one hand. He is very dangerous if made angry. When at rest in the Carnival of Doom he turns into the contraption that tests your strength.

Ashley is Mark Hollander's younger cousin. She knows about Ace Lightning and has promised to keep it a secret.

Otherwise known as the Kent Brothers Carnival. Owned by Duff Kent. This is Lord Fear's base and where the pieces of the Amulet of Zoar are hidden.

Cheseborough, Horace

Cheseborough is Mark Hollander's science teacher. In the 2nd season he becomes his homeroom teacher. He was kidnapped by Lord Fear and his memory of the abduction was wiped by the Dirty Rat but he later recalls the abduction and believes that he was abducted by aliens. He wears buttons with sayings on them.

The Googler is summoned from the Sixth Dimension by Lord Fear. He has two puppets on his hands named Zip and Snip. They can spew venom. The Googler can also roll himself into a spiked ball. When at rest in the Carnival of Doom he turns into a picture of a clown on a puppet booth.

Lady Illusion is one of Lord Fear's Evils. She is a shape-shifter and can throw balls at her enemies. She is in love with Ace Lightning and occasionally helps him out.

Pete is Mark Hollander's best friend from England. He and Mark Hollander correspond by e-mail. He knows all about Ace Lightning and Lord Fear.

One of Lord Fear's Evils. He is disgusting and loves eating garbage. His appearance resembles an ugly pig. When hiding out in the Carnival of Doom, he is a garbage bin.

Radioactive Guy

The legend of the 'Radioactive Guy' was a story that Chuck Mugel made up. When Ashley tried to tell Chuck about Ace Lightning, Mark Hollander covered up by saying that Ace was the Radioactive Guy. According to Chuck, the radioactive guy (Cornelius Fowler) went crazy from the radiation from a comet he brought into the observatory (now the Thunder Tower). He never leaves the observatory.

Brett is Samantha Thompson's boyfriend through most of the series. He and Heather Hoffs end up together. He is the most popular boy in school and is on the school soccer team.

Random Virus

Random Virus was summoned from the Sixth Dimension by the Dirty Rat but he often switches sides. He can control machines and lives in the junkyard. He doesn't want to help Ace Lightning for fear that his bad side will take over.

Rick

Rick is the Master Programmer. He owns a computer place and Chuck Mugel works for him.

Rotgut
Voiced by: Robert Tinkler

Rotgut is a walking zombie who talks like a cowboy. Lord Fear summons him from the Sixth Dimension with two of the Amulet of Zoar pieces that Lady Illusion stole from Mark Hollander.

Staff Head is another of Lord Fear's Evils. Lord Fear usually carries him around. Staff Head can shoot beams and wrap himself around his enemies.

Samantha is Mark Hollander's next-door neighbour and the most popular girl in the school. She was going out with Brett Ramirez in the first episode but ends up going out with Mark Hollander. Heather Hoffs is her best friend. At the end of season 1 she goes to boarding school.

Thunder Tower

This abandoned observatory is Ace Lightning's home. There is a transformer here that carries a million volts of electricity that he and Sparx use to power up. The Thunder Tower is also the name of Ace Lightning's base in the Sixth Dimension.
