Frontier Mobile Home Park has been a part of North Amityville for the ast 50 years. We, the 700+ mobile home owners that live here were told in February that the owners of the land itself want us OUT in order to redevelop the land into apartments and stores. They want to “uplift an unsafe area” and “bolster town revenues.”

What makes them think building this project will uplift an “unsafe” area? Of course it will bolster town revenues, but this is our
Little community and has been for a lot of us for over 20 years We are a diverse community of Veterans, Seniors, Disabled, Minorities, children and pets; most have 2 pets. The Park is also home to 200+ stray/feral cats that we feed. What will happen to them if this project goes through?

We have 141 children that attend Amityville School District. How will being uprooted iat a critical juncture in their education affect them???

We the people who live here are standing up to fight Corporate Greed in order to KEEP OUR HOMES. We need help with our legal costs; anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.

If we lose our fight, we may end up in the street; our Veterans, our Seniors, our Minorities, our Disabled, our children and our pets will end up in shelters, be put down, or worse, all in the name of CORPORATE GREED... this is the town’s way of urban renewing away the poor.
