Manmohan Desai
presents MKD films Yeh Hai Jalwa. Directed and edited by David
Dhawan, who seems to be missing track with his Hero No. 1
Govinda. Yeh Hai Jalwa is produced by Kanchan Ketan
Desai, lyrics is by Sudhakar Sharma and the music is
given by Himesh Reshammiya.
Jalwa... the song would be better called as 'O jane
jigar' insisted of Jalwa. As Jalwa is just sung
in the background. Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik have
given excellent performance. It's kind of romantic number but does
not follow the routine principal of slow music. Jalwa is
repeated on other side.
Dhire Dhire... Udit Narayan along with Alka
Yagnik teaches the lesson of slow and steady. The song is good
enough to tap your feet.
Carbon copy... Shaan's number. It's a humorous song
one like love-o-logy. Father beware, you never know when your son
comes out with this song. The song is in fast motion but later
drifts to the sad side. There are three versions of this song out
of which one is sad.
Aankhen pyari hai... Don't! Don't!! get carried away by the
name itself. After lots of music Kumar Sanu and Alka
Yagnik manage to sing. The song is very obvious, the love
birds spend all their time doing each others 'Tarif' which
starts from their eyes and goes all the way to their heart.
Moving to the other side which does not have much to offer except
a couple of repeated numbers.
Chudi khankayi re... although Udit Narayan and Alka
Yagnik are simple good, the song fails to leave it's mark. The
song starts from chudi goes to mendhi then to chunari
and bindi and so on...
London mein India... this song seems special as the music
is given by Anand Raj Anand and lyrics is by Dev Kohli.
This song is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Pankaj Udhas.
"Chithi ayi hai" may repeat itself. This song
will touch every Indian's heart specially those settled abroad.
