Overview of all the site

Weather conditions:

The weather conditions were very very difficult to manage with temperatures between 4ºC until 10ºC in Friday and Saturday with rain 80% of the time. Due to that reason a lot of accidents have happened caused by the slippery floor. In Sunday the weather improved a little bit, with the Max temperature reaching 13ºC wish was enough to allow the improvement of the performance of all the Teams. In general we can say that it was a very difficult competition. It was the experience, and the knowledge of each team that made the difference. In these conditions the most important factor is to survive, and not to try to reach records.

Organisation :

Once again our congratulations to the organisation of this fantastic event. With only one circle flight, it was possible to manage the competition of 27 F2C Teams plus 24 F2B competitors, without any problem. Everything was very well organised and it was possible to perform training's before each stage of the competition. Again congratulations to all the staff involved in this competition. However it will be very good if in the next competition, we can have the chance to practice in another flying circle.

Jury :

Our congratulation also to the F2C Jury, that has made an impartial judgement, wish is very important for the environment of the competition. It is always important when nobody notices the presence of the jury. The spectacle should belong to the competitors. It was tested for the first time the new four warning roles in the final, and the 5 seconds penalty. And in spite of being in disagreement with my 5 seconds penalty, the performance of the jury was very positive. Wish is good, because two of the jury's will be present in the next European Championship.

Competitors:

It was clear for all that, the competition was very difficult. It was not easy to fly with those weather conditions. This weather conditions have affected most the Team's coming from hot countries. The Spanish and the Italian Teams for instance, they didn't get to adapt to this conditions. Even the French Teams didn't were able to reach great performances. However we have notice, that there are new team's starting to appear in this F2C class, wish is a very positive sign. A positive remark for the evolution of two Teams recently formed, one from Portugal ( Mortinho - Matias ) and another from Spain ( Nacho - Eglesias ) that have revealed great sport maturity, congratulation also for them.

Good bye to all until GYULA......
