Mul-T-Lock has launched the innovative E-Series Padlocks, an exciting and revolutionary new range which is designed to stand up to the most rigorous standards. Manufactured to exceed the requirements of the new CEN and other international standards, the E-Series Padlocks raise the standard of security by a unique concept of completely locking the cylinder between the upper and lower bodies of the padlock, becoming one unit once the shackle is closed. Further security is afforded through the ball bearing mechanism that locks the shackle, and creates even greater resistance against pulling or wedging the shackle. Available in a wide variety of shackle sizes, including the world's first 18mm shackle, the Hardened Boron Alloy design significantly increases resistance to attacks from sawing, levering, chiseling, hammering, twisting and cutting. Efforts are underway to create a new standard 'CEN 7' - to accommodate a padlock of such quality. Additional features of the padlocks include a rotating hardened disk to resist drilling of the cylinder and a unique patented telescopic pin tumbler mechanism in the cylinder which provides pick and drill resistance. Produced in heavy-duty case hardened malleable iron, the Padlocks have been constructed to resist all forms of attack.
