Kid jumping off Canoe. This animation is of the time I went to a camp and we went on a seven day canoe trip. A counselor and I stopped at a little rock island in the middle of the lake. It was covered in seagulls and their poop. We were the fist ones their. Then the secondgroup arrived. This island was very rocky and the water got deep very fast. The third group was coming in. Now at this camp, we are not allowed to scratch the canoes. So we must do everything possible to keep it clean. My counselor yelled to the kid in the bow(front) of the boat. "Quick, jump! There is a rock!" So the kid jumped out into 12 foot deep water with him then recognizing there was no rock. We all laughed at him and he said some stuff. I will leave it at that.
Another story is when we were in the tent at night playing cards and reading. We heard a pan fall. So we all went quiet. Whenever that happens it means there is some kind of animal out there. So we waited and our counselors went out. They yelled and rose their hands up and found nothing. Then we realized it was the other campsite making dinner.
Animation of how we set up our shelter. One time, at another camp, we were going on a 3-day 25 mile canoe trip. But right off the bat we knew it would be a bad trip. We forgot our tents. So the first night we slept on our ponchos so our sleeping bags wouldn't get wet on the ground. The second night, was a lot worse. It stormed. First look at the animation to the right. It started to turn a greyish-green in the sky. We all ran under the shelter and waited. It started to pour, and mean pour. It was hailing. We thought it was going to be a tornado. The hail was the size of a golf ball. So one counselor tried to find a connection for the cell phone. So he called camp and told them to pick us up. So we paddled to the spot. It took them three hours just to drop off some tents.
